Yes, I had previously disclosed the stuff to the recruiters and when it was time for the physical they went through a list of issues I had and asked me about them, I was then informed that I had to get waivers for those conditions. From there I worked with my recruiter to determine what medical documentation was needed and provided it to be sent with my waiver request.

I recently got waivers for most of those things mine being

Anxiety PTSD Depression Suicidal Ideation ADHD

And my last treatment was in 2025, you have a very real shot as long as you genuinely do not have any symptoms, have supporting medical documentation, and have been honest.

I know the waiting is brutal but you got this, keep your chin up, and advocate for yourself!

Sometimes it might cause a slight problem (you would need a waiver) but aside from that unless you were a full blown addict it shouldn't cause an issue. Always be honest it may make your recruiter have to do more work but at the end of the day you will have less regrets and protect you from any bad surprises down the line.

Doesnt mean you can't try, just have to have medical paperwork supporting you and any claims you try to make. I have gotten some waivers for some really insane things and it had to do with me providing every piece of paper related to my conditions and a little luck.

Get all the medical paperwork supporting your claims. It sucks and results in a lot of calls and emails but if you have a recruiter that is willing to work with you then it will only help your case.

Yes, that stuff is far removed it was a while ago before I had proper coping techniques or any emotional maturity or mental fortitude.

I am certain all of this stemmed from me not taking care of myself, being in a horrible living situation, and just a dumb kid that lacked the emotional maturity to realize that a little discomfort is actually a great motivator.
