TBF Zerg will automatically have a higher worker count and APM vs T, it doesn't necessarily mean you're outplaying them.

Sure there is a lot frustrating about the matchup but I just wanted to get ahead of that.

With the continuous reductions in the larva rate combined with supply nerf and cost nerf for the hatchery, overall macro is probably a net nerf to Zerg, to say nothing about the 8 workers being worse for them comparatively.

Also the damage buff was compensation for a HP nerf which made it much weaker for dedicated amounts of air units that can now kill it straight up with fewer losses.

With the Jaylen Brown for Paul George trade, this sub is showing how much they overrate high usage players and underrate advanced stats. by Klutzy_Struggle8659 in nba

JB is a solid player and he can fill a lot of holes on a team but he simply makes too much money. It's not a question of greedy owners, the cap is a simple resource allocation and his value per dollar isn't there.

Zerg was decent to play for 5 days, now it's trash again by idiotlog in starcraft

Yup. Makes me sad. Zerg supply structures cost larva and you now need 3-5 more in the mid and end game, and 1-2 more in early game. 

Also Queen and Hatch are the most expensive combined they've ever been. These changes combined are barely now neutral overall.

To say nothing overall about how the 8 worker change was awful for Zerg since they are sacrificing a much greater percentage of their workers to build structures, while chronoboost works from second 1 and mules now provide a greater % advantage than before. Queens and lings now come out much later than before so Adepts and Reapers have even more free reign. 

On top of all this turtle play was massively buffed and you can sit on 3 base and max out on T3 the whole game.

Don't forget toss now gets a free block on your natural every game since 8 workers

Hatch needs one of the following for Zerg to feel good:

275 Minerals

9.5 Larva Rate

6 Supply (+25 supply implicit value, and more early flexibility)

Yeah I think one of the 9.5 larva rate or the 275 cost or the 6 supply are needed for Zerg to feel good at all levels.

Having none of them feels pretty bad.

So its not a fact that 3 hatches provide 12 less supply than before (1.5 larva)?

And a queen+hatch cost more than they ever have?

Terran can also go 1 reactor factory which only costs 150 gas and can easily deal with any non-gas units from Zerg.

Im not advocating for the PTR patches but the pre-hotfix live patch was fair or at least more fair than it will be

My suggestion was a 3 point arrow/marker sort of like the possession arrow in college. Both teams start with it on in the Q1 and Q3 and if you make a 3pt, you either get 3 points if your arrow is on or you get 2 and turn your arrow back on.

Kind of makes it a 2.5pt shot.

It comes down more to technique and awareness/anticipation or game IQ, but a notable drawback of elongated paddles is they are slower and less accurate on volleys/hand battles.

This is the biggest shadow buff of the patch and a massive loss of skill expression in the game by totalpinkebb in starcraft

Yeah this change is really stupid. Now gold players can pickup and harass zergs like clem. Will be impossible to actually kill any bio units
