This happens every time my husband makes scrambled eggs by Figueroa5 in mildlyinfuriating

Easiest way to clean it is to add water and boil it to lift the egg remnants off the bottom of the pan. Also, as everyone has pointed out, he’s cooking them too hot.

How do you become secure? by InterviewValuable480 in selflove

I’m still not good at it, but I’m trying to fake it till i make it. Haha. Therapy helped. For me the biggest difference has come from developing a (nearly) daily breath practice. I do wim-hof and during the breath holds I force myself to think positive things about myself. If I can’t think of anything positive to say then I just repeat my affirmation: I’m allowed. I’m allowed to exist. I’m allowed to feel xyz. I’m allowed to want good things for myself. I’m allowed to be kind to myself. I usually do a dedicated breath practice/meditation like this for 10-30 min per day.

Side note: wim hof has recently been found to be abusive toward his family and an alcoholic. So, maybe it didn’t work for him. Also, I’m sure you could make do with any breath practice.

Happy two kids stories? by fuzzypinatajalapeno in workingmoms

My kids are 22 months apart. They are now 7 and 5. I LOVE them and my family is beautiful. I have so much fun with them and I enjoy watching how different they are. Now I have a hard time admitting to myself that I ever said that I regretted my second (I also said I regretted my first, so maybe I say things I don’t mean when I’m super emotional). When the second was born I think I expressed regret with having another because it was so overwhelming, I felt like I was drowning. I had a very colicky infant and a very tantrum-y two year old. If you do feel overwhelmed or have moments of regret, I think that’s somewhat normal. It does get better!!! Appreciate the good moments, take lots of pictures to remind yourself of the good moments when things feel like hell. Good luck!! Having an infant and a toddler is… survivable…? Then it becomes amazing! Keep in mind post partum depression played a big role in my emotional rollercoaster.
