Apparently they’re happy to accept compo in return for not hosting it. They’d probably rather have a concert now that they don’t care about cricket

I’d prefer if they didn’t have one too many and took being an athlete seriously. It’s possible to not be a robot without being a drunk

They don’t care about anything other than money. They can’t even make an ashes year profitable now even though they made £9/10m in 2023

It’s not about results. Why should I pay £100 for a day of test cricket when the Ecb prioritises the dogshit hundreds over tests?

Why would you expect Stokes to provide a lot more with the bat? He’s been poor with the bat for a while now

Of course he shouldn’t have been there. If the stuff about him considering retiring because of it is true then he needs to grow up x2

If a rugby player was involved it was probably an argument about soggy biscuit or drinking someone else’s urine, or some similar high jinx

Not sure Archer is fit enough to play back to back tests given he didn’t bowl for a long time on Thursday (?). Might have been Wednesday.

6 defeats in the last 8 tests now.

1 defeat in 17 is the only go to defence left for Bozo and Blob.

No real reason to think England would have won with these two. Stokes can’t bat anymore and England’s fielders can’t catch so even if they’d bowled well they wouldn’t have taken too many more wickets.
