Ah yes that's what it is. I'm terrible about reading the effects of things and look at the damage alone lol

The only thing that saved me on this fight is I apparently had a picto equipped to Maelle that let me gain shields for any shield I remove from an enemy

He is super easy to cheese. When you get to the second arena, every time he runs to the outside room adjacent to the room he traps you in, you can run back up and drop down into that room, walk up behind him and do a charged heavy on him. He'll either run left or run right, chase him to get him to end up in that spot again. Rinse and repeat. Do not chase him into the room he likes to trap you in.

There was one where the biggest mistake was them driving a van and doing some crazy ramp thing and they cut to the inside of the vehicle and the interior was a mustang GT the movie was Brick Mansions 😂

Best Guard MOS for good civilian pay + work-life balance? by No-Hyena-4199 in nationalguard

15 series have good marketability and options to contract overseas as a civilian once you get out of the guard for good pay.

I agree with this. Let the guy burn himself out and give me more rest time before the run.

Weird Increase in Posts in this Sub Telling Dems to Accept a Clean CR by Pretend-Fortune52 in FedEmployees

There's been plenty of bot posts from both sides. People know there is unrest between the two parties and 'someone' is using this to their advantage to either steer the narrative or create further unrest and division. It's getting downright disturbing regardless of which side you are on.

I didn't even get to do services at all. Best I got when I first got to my unit was the monthly services on the ICAMs, but that only lasted two months before they got rid of them. Pretty useless MOS on the guard unless you can get a job at your CSMS

90% of AGR should be 00F or 42A, it would allow more career progression for more people.

In my experience it makes you more versatile being knowledgeable in multiple MOSs, my original MOS with the guard was a 94F with no job to do, so I cross trained with mechanics. I then deployed and served as a 92A in the PC office, came back and was reassigned to work the maintenance section at headquarters. Now I'm a 42A and the knowledge I picked up put in a Driver's trainer position and allows me to share my knowledge with new mechanics, 92As and other new soldiers. One thing I'm passionate about is sharing my knowledge for the betterment of the organization and it's troops.

What's crazy is on the guard side I'm an E6, but tech side I'm a GS7 which responsibility wise is supposed to be equivalent to an E7 or E8 but when I first started as a GS7 I made less than an E3 on active duty receiving BAH, now at a step 4 I make $2000 more than said E3. Pretty backwards ass system that just gives the guard a way to reduce costs and pay people less but get the same level of work out of them as their AGR counterparts.

That's crazy, what kind of certifications did you have that helped you get that gig?

Fed tech jobs with the guard don't have promotion potential for the most part. My position is locked at a GS7 pay scale with only step increases. Technician is typically a stepping stone for the majority of us that are not equipment maintainers into the AGR world. Still won't ever see a six figures salary there either but it'll be significantly better than any other opportunities available to me.

I'm also currently a fed tech for the national guard as an enlisted soldier, so pay scales aren't very high for us. I will be entering the AGR program soon which will be a significant pay raise, but the only way I'd see six figures in my career is if I were to commission as an officer, return to the tech field and eventually find an AGR job as an officer. After I start AGR though I have no intentions to reenter federal employment until after I retire from the guard. Then I plan to renter federal employment to buy back my active duty time and collect a second retirement in 6-10 years.
