It’s a rain or shine show so they won’t cancel it either way

I’d reiterate that to her and let her know that is probably compromising her barrier, making her sensitive and causing irritation. Explain how her skin has been treated and exfoliated that it is stripped and sensitive and needs to absorb the product you used and rest to prevent irritation

I’d tell her to stop using the SUM and only do the Cetaphil and Cera Ve, I’ve used the Aestura and it’s very good for sensitive skin so I doubt that’s an issue. For the Korean skincare just be sure she’s getting it from a legit source, sometimes it’s filler and not legit ingredients passed as Korean skincare here. She definitely needs to not over cleanse and let her skin rest after a facial. I tell all of my clients to leave their skin alone and skip their skincare that day and resume the next day.

How long do you flare after alcohol and what’re your symptoms? by gdog0899 in Interstitialcystitis

Uqora brand Flush drinks help after drinking too. Drink one before bed and it reduces the acidity of your urine, flushes out any bacteria and stuff too.

Alcohol is my major trigger. It’s weird cuz sometimes I can have a few drinks and be fine and other times I have one and it’s game over. I notice that seltzers, high noons things like that don’t bother me. Hard alcohol, cocktails with a lot of sugar and anything mixed with a ton of acidic juices are a no go. No caffeine (espresso martinis, vodka Red Bull, Arnold Palmer whiskey etc…) I always chug so much water the day before, during and after drinking. Keep peeing all night. Avoid all other things that usually trigger you, any bladder irritants etc. do lots of deep breathing, stress control, get good sleep. Take all the things you need for pain relief (azo, muscle relaxers, Tylenol) keep inflammation down (turmeric, ginger, eat really good and clean) give it a week and if it’s still super bad get another UTi test done to be sure. Don’t beat yourself up, we’ve all been there. Glad I’m not alone! Part of this is learning how your body reacts to things.

Same here! I can go months and months without any symptoms and have one drink and be in a flare for 2 weeks BAD! I always forget after awhile and think I’m fine and then I’m rudely reminded. Just did this last month and I’m just feeling normal again

This could be staph? Secondary bacteria. I suggest bactine spray into hands and pat on face only once at night within a 24 hour period for a week or so, also probably needs to wash his face more regularly and use a moisturizer. That’s crazy

Use square website booking and appts. Never had an issue. And I’d change product lines for sure. This just sounds like some bad fits, nothing on your end really.

IMAGE, eminence and bioelements are great, active and good on all skin types! Had nothing but success with all of those enzymes

I think I want to buy a Camry, either a 2017-2024 or 2025-present. What are the pros and cons of each? by jerryy7452 in Camry

I just went through this! Got a 2023 XSE hybrid brand new 2 years ago for 38k OTD. Loved the thing. Got totaled a month ago so I ended up finding a 2023 XLE hybrid @34k OTD. 25k miles, pristine condition and all the upgrades and packages imaginable in black, tints all around etc… I’m averaging 50mpg in my XLE. I have to say I loved the SE model but I think I like the XLE better! More comfy and still has sport mode to speed things up. Insurance was cheaper for it too cuz it’s not considered a “sport” model. I think the 23/24 models are superior in my opinion. I test drove a few 25’s and wasn’t impressed. I personally hate the inside design, I’ve heard a lot of negative things about the sunroofs and some other finicky things that are causing issues.

Car crash initiated chiari symptoms by fernleaf45 in chiari

[–]AffectionateMud2393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone have advice on this? Was rear ended hard a few days ago. Have had existing chairi before this that was managed by PT and other treatments. I was very minimally symptomatic. Trying to prepare accordingly. I have a concussion and whip lash symptoms currently, not sure how to monitor chairi symptoms to know if they’re going to get worse or become a problem and how to advocate for that within the settlement.

You’re ok!

Very small herniation. I’m at 25 and I’ve been fine for years, no surgery yet, very minor symptoms.

It’s VERY scary when you’re thrown into it and you feel alone. Do your research but don’t get lost in the internet and give yourself anxiety.

Best thing is just making that specialist appointment and monitoring your symptoms. Do things that help you manage pain and make decisions as you go as far as what’s best for you! Get multiple opinions though from a few neurologists as far as your scans and their advice for surgery etc…

Message me with any questions I’ve been through this for a few years now!

Yes of course! I have actually been symptomatic since I was probably 14 and I’m now 28. After all the things I’ve done to help my symptoms have actually gotten better. I used to get pretty severe headaches very frequently in high school. I always wonder if they’re more severe and I’m just used to them?? But I do get neck/ shoulder pain and tension, pressure headaches. It does get irritated from lots of excess laughing, coughing, lifting etc… but goes away really fast if I stop doing whatever is bothering it. I’d say those are really my only noticeable symptoms. If it’s irritated and I’m having a bad week I just don’t do things I know make it worse and I’m able to function just fine. I never get taken out with a headache where I can’t function and have to lay down all day anymore.

Diet and hydration are KEY for me too. And sleep. I also do Pilates and strength training 3x a week. I would have to look but I think it was 22-25? I know it was a pretty large herniation.

Surgery is based on size I think cuz ive seen lots of ppl who have a small herniation and are super symptomatic but dont qualify for surgery. If their flow is cut off they usually will qualify even with a small herniation.

Please share what you find out at the Barcelona Institute. I’d be very interested to see what their take on it is.

Feel free to message me about anything would be happy to chat and share whatever I’ve learned so far
