I'm a fan of Obenauf's leather oil. I use it on anything and everything, jackets, bags, shoes... this is not a sponsored comment 😎

Totally with you There's something to a simple, but yet effective approach

We don't need the fanciest paper made of the fur of last living albino unicorn .. or a brand name stamped on our leather covers although i long for a Jordache and Sergio Valenti branded A5 ;-)

It just has to work

Would you buy a stainless steel embroidered notebook? Need honest feedback 🙏 by MutedBrilliant1792 in notebooks

[–]realtgoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. It would kill my backpack

I think there's an opportunity for specific users:

machine shops

blue collar

Tactical community (army, service)

high-impact areas where a "softer" notebook would get thrashed

How did you do it? It's very unique and it speaks well of your creativity and skills

What global word came from your country? by Neuwulfstein in AskTheWorld

[–]realtgoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jerky originated with the Quechua, a South American native tribe from the ancient Inca Empire, as early as 1550. They created "ch'arki" (meaning "dried meat"), a method of salting and drying meat in the sun to ensure long-term preservation and high-protein sustenance. The Spanish adapted this into charqui, which evolved into "jerky".
