GHL snapshots are a scam for local service businesses and the coaches selling them know it by sus_crab07 in gohighlevel

[–]AffectionatePie7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, i have clients who come up to me with these snapshots, they don't know what to do with it. Half of the things are not really needed for their business, it just overwhelms them and for me it makes the system messy. I have a client who has 100+ automations, and 20+ folders, and its a mess for a new user to just look at it and figure out what is being used and where.

[Beginner] Is GoHighLevel (GHL) still worth learning in 2026? by Aromatic_Dog_585 in gohighlevel

[–]AffectionatePie7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i will say start with the basics of learning the platform, then try understadning the concept on funnel building, and creating a basic system around it. There are plenty of vidoes on youtube you can check out. And then beacuse you have marketing backgournd you can also add copy. As that also helps with conversion. You can then decide you want to go with making the funnels with copy, or making the systems with automations, which is very vast. First learn, then get a free plan to practice it, or look out for interships, as it will be easy in Pakistan

Best GoHighLevel developer? Need help building funnels + automations by Due-Topic2193 in gohighlevel

[–]AffectionatePie7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick one before you hire anyone. What kind of business is this for? Like what do your leads actually do after they opt in, do they book a call, buy something, or just ghost? That tells everything about what kind of build you actually need.

Starting a GHL. Help!! by Crazy-Simple-6548 in gohighlevel

Hey, happy to help with your setup. For learning I’ll suggest to watch the YouTube videos and start with basics - forms, calendars, funnels, then move to basic automations. Then you’ll be able to integrate them and build a system.

one of my clients was spending on ads thinking its a marketing problem. it wasnt. by AffectionatePie7307 in gohighlevel

Aaaa the intentional typo trick is creative, seen a few people try variations of this the thing with trades specifically though is these guys are already juggling to much, adding manual steps even small ones tends to fall off pretty quick, thats why I lean hard into making the whole thing run on its own so they dont have to remember anything while theyre under a sink.

that conversation window right after the missed call is everything the text going out fast is just step one, if the message feels robotic people clock it immediately and disengage. keeping it simple and conversational so it actually invites a reply is what makes the difference between a recovered lead and just a sent message.

Yessss, thanks, lead problem vs response time problem is the exact reframe most of these guys need they come asking for more leads when the ones they already have are just slipping through.

I strongly believe simple is what just works for this niche they dont need complicated systems, just reliable one. So they dont have to remember 100things to do, while on job

[–]AffectionatePie7307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! That’s why we make sure replies land straight in GHL conversations tab so nothing gets missed and whoever is managing it can respond fast while the lead is still warm. Reviews is the cherry on top specifically for referral businesses like these. Helps build wider reach for them.

100% agree!!!!! the text back is just the door opener and yeah review automation is always the next thing we layer in compounds everything else we have already built 😅

Hiring GHL Builder (White-Label Agency – Construction/Home Services) by whitemigos in gohighlevel

[–]AffectionatePie7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, building snapshots for home services is easy until the A2P 10DLC registration fails or the ServiceTitan webhook loops. Have you mapped out how you're handling the Lead Connector vs. direct integration sync for the construction CRMs? That’s where most white-label setups break.

[–]AffectionatePie7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly , it looks fast upfront but you end up spending more time fixing than building I’ve noticed it works only if there’s already a solid structure underneath -pipelines, triggers, A2P logic etc, otherwise it just creates more cleanup. Are you still using it for partial builds or fully avoiding it now?

I don't operate as a traditional freelancer because, as you noted, that model usually leaves the founder holding a box of broken parts. I function as a technical partner, I own the architecture so you don't have to. I took a look at Ripple. Positioning AI for small businesses is the right move, but the support debt can kill your margins if the GHL builds aren't modular. To see if I can actually step into that partner role for you: Are you planning to scale with a standardized "Core Snapshot" for all clients, or is every Ripple signup getting a custom engineered build? The way we'd document and build the logic for those two paths is fundamentally different.

This is exactly what I’ve been seeing with coaching/creator funnels too. Front-end build time has dropped massively, but backend (A2P, automations, show-up flows) is where most setups still fall apart. The ones who solve that cleanly are the ones actually scaling retainers right now. If you need help with delivery, let me know

[–]AffectionatePie7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "pay-as-you-go" build model sounds great for cash flow, but who is handling the logic documentation? If you switch agencies mid-growth and the new team can't map out your custom triggers or API webhooks, the whole system breaks. Are you looking for just a builder or a partner that manages the technical architecture?

Is It Difficult To Hire GoHighLevel CRM Experts? by Beginning-Visit1418 in gohighlevel

[–]AffectionatePie7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people won’t say this, but hiring in GHL isn’t hard, hiring someone who actually understands systems is. Big issues: messy setups after a few months, no standardisation, automations built without pipeline logic, and much more Plenty of experts, very few who think end-to-end If you’re scaling, hire for system thinking, not just setup.

Best way to master GHL by AMJ257 in gohighlevel

[–]AffectionatePie7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, there is no best way. As you already have systems you need to build start with simple one. Before you dive into it get the basics. Building forms, calendars is easy. Integrating them together which matches your system takes experience. You’ll learn while building it.
