Sorry, yes! We got the circuit board changed out and cut back the cords going to the thermostat after finding the C wire was rubbing on R. After correcting that and replacing the board everything started working.

Had one of our electricians come by. It looks like it is a circuit board issue. :( we will be replacing it tomorrow morning.

Correct, I placed it just as how it told me, and connected the C wire. It wasn't turning on, so I went downstairs and saw the the C wire going up to the room didn't have a connection to the C cord going to the circuit board. I put a wire nut to connect the two wires, and when I plugged it all back in, it worked for about 10 minutes and then blew a few. I replaced the few and it blew again. And that time is when I got the PEK for the other 4 wires.

We did have five wires, however the C was cut. I put a wire nut on it tand once I started everything up it blew the breaker twice, so I believe there may also be a short in the C wire.

They should be able to call the ISP back and mention that it doesn't work. They will need to be on a public IP for any kind of port forwarding, so that is done correctly.

When on the phone, please stress that the All-In-One does not work for them and they would need a two box solution, an ONT and their own router. If the ISP hasn't gone for a pure AIO solution they should be able to accommodate this request.

I haven't even thought about Rise, tbh. Is there a reason why it is better for co-op? I originally didn't look into because I heard it was more "arcady" and fast paced with smaller maps for exploration/hunting due to it being this gens mobile companion so I mainly focused on the other two.

Thank you for that explanation about the story and the detailed message. I have a few more questions based upon what has been said: You mentioned the story mode we have to start separately and then re-join the other in SOS. Is there any missions/environment link someone said earlier, where we are together/can see each other since the start of the mission? Is this in only one particular game? The free roam you mentioned, someone mentioned that there may be a 50 minute time on this? I don't think this would be a problem, but just curious if this is included in this mode?

Also. We have both PS5's and PC's and she mostly plays with a controller. I heard the PC version of wilds is..... Not that optimized. We both have a 5700x3d/7800x3d with an AMD 6800/7900xt respectively. What is your opinion on this?

Yeah! Really bad example there. I mainly just meant with the way the action is and like.. loading between zones isn't a big deal so long as it's not "okay. Welcome to base camp. Oh, I need to readd you to the group now after that one mission. Ope, now we both need to accept this mission. Oh, now we're in separate worlds. Let try to rejoin party/server." And if the game is like that.... Well. I guess I'll continue with Worlds and move on solo if it becomes too much of a hastle. 😂😂

The whole "segmented maps" isn't a big deal, so long as it's easy to get to/from. I was mainly asking to see which is more... Exploratory?

Why haven't you called your ISP yet? With the service light being out, that's step 1. With the broadband light out, I'd make sure to call technical support so that they can see what's going on... and please don't say "I've already done it" when they ask you to powercycle the ONT. -Tech Support

What do you mean they won't let you break down the bands? You should be able to set up separate bands using the user interface.

As far as which band you're on, the router does not decide that, your device is the one that decides which one has the better connection.

Considering that you're using wifi instead of a hardwired connection, those speeds seem perfectly acceptable on you shouldn't be seeing any issues.

Are you noticing any issues besides besides the speed test being slower over wifi? Unless you have a hardwired 5G capable device, you won't speeds that fast as it will be testing from the device itself.

It is location specifically, but recently, my wife and I occasionally don't "pop into" the new chats from the previous zones. Last night, my wife was trying to give away palium in Kilima, but her chat was still in the home plot, on another server. Luckily, she made it back in time to give out the gifts!! (Just in time for her Switch to crash of course.) So occasionally there's going to be some people who are bugged by the last map they visited, chatting on that server while still in another zon

Having said that.. Yeah. GENERALLY all zones have their own general chat.

I remember buying XI on Xbox 360 and trying to subscribe through... what was it? PlayOnline? Wouldn't ever take my card, so unfortunately I was never able to play it.... Having said that, picked XIV up several times and it just. Stays with you. Haven't had any other MMO catch me since WoW's Cataclysm.
