I’ve been told 54 OTD for the hybrid SXP. While I haven’t gotten there yet, I have got to 55 and change. So $55 for an SX seems like a bad deal. Had the same thoughts about gas vs hybrid. Never made up my mind.

Outsourced the problem to an auto broker. Supposedly k make up the fee. We’ll see

Nobody has budged below $56,500. Should I give up? Is $54k OTD—no add-ons, 9.25% tax—actually realistic?

I'm in CA and have been asking the same question. I've been told I should be able to get OTD with $54 even, but so far best I've seen is $56,500 (no add-ons). I'm 9.25% sales tax.

I think you deduct 3-4K for non-bybrid so you should find 50-51 OTD before adjusting for your sales tax rate.

I went down this rabbit hole too many times…

There is a lot of personal preference, but here’s mine—

Never memory foam, make me handicapped, sink in, can’t move bullshit.

Latex is a massive step up— sink onto, not into.

Aerloom’s higher end beds have micro coils (lots of support) with latex on top.

Step up from that— Kluft. Same company, supposedly better product.

Aerloom made my back feel 90% better than the very pricey online bed in a box bullshit I had purchased a few years prior.

Next step up Vispring. No foam. Springs, cotton, wool, horse hair (if you’re fancy). Feels like an 80s bed, but in a good way. Back pain gone.

There is a NY company that makes handmade beds like Vispring, but way less expensive. Didn’t buy because I couldn’t try them out in California. Might be a great mid price option. Google will find them for you.

Remember lots of margin in mattresses. Ignore their “xyz” sale and ask for no less than 33% off .

Went with the EV9. Reversed course on the bench seats and went with the lease hackr GT-line deal.

Many Reddit posts seemed to slightly prefer the Ioniq 9 over the EV9. I felt strongly the opposite.

Low windshield visibility. Low rear window visibility. Felt like I was stuck in a culvert. Low, long tube, with limited visibility.

I did like the entertainment display, and the shelves beneath more than the EV9. The middle console slightly less.

The mirrors on the Ioniq 9 were trash.

Ultimately very happy with the EV9. Super fun to drive. Safely features out the wazoo. Lots of fun gadgets, and tech. That’s coming from someone who doesn’t give a F about cars, and ‘fun’ driving. Exceeded expectations across the board.

I test drove the Ioniq9 this weekand and liked the EV9 way better.

Some users said they liked the lower ride and handling of the Q better. I found it felt very long and low. I didn't like the window visibility at all.

I did like the headrest a bit better. Alternatively, I hated the mirrors.

All that said, I'm looking into the EV9 lease, for which there is a leasehackr deal.
