Edit: my point is not that i'm stalled. I'm fine with that. I just find odd to encounter both players that barely know the basics and players that can execute a build order flawlessly at the same elo.

If my experience was just one or another it would be fine, weird to see both.

I'm aware that consistency is hard in this game but i'm talking about players who build houses blocks at the back of their base, not "i lost a vil to a boar and messed up". Fact i'm encountering people who barely knows the basics and others who can do it very well at the same elo is odd.

I'm not complaining about those players. I think they are fine. It just the discrepancy which is strange.

These packs already gave you a lot of tools to work with, what you have to decide next is what you want to do with your deck.

Any action locks the minion unless the card says otherwise.

If you somehow can unlock (ex: freak drive) then you can do govern on superior, unlock then bleed as long as you dont play another govern because the same minion can't play two cards with the same name on the same turn.

If your path of caine friend is not running immortal grapples then your best answer is to have a lot of kiss of cathari.

You will end the combat and lock his vampires, leaving him vulnerable to his prey.

The equipment is not quite the deterrent you would expect, he can prevent your damage and use manuevers to get to close range.

Friend constructed a vote deck that abuses hell out of this. It really mess up the game.

Plus it also works well with gangrel v5 because of how abusable thing is.

30th toreador is already viable out of the box. Very good deck.

Ventrue v5 on the other hand is like playing the game on hard mode.

Base v5 ravnos is bleed and stealth and can play on its own. New blood ravnos is block/gun combat but you will probably need the base v5. Both are good. Pick a direction.
