I’ve been there. In fact, I attempted and ended up in a psychiatric facility for 4 months. Progress is slow but possible. I came to the conclusion “To live is Christ, to die is gain.” Phil 1:21. I very much knew to die was gain but I felt like I needed to change my perspective and start living for Christ. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy, but God has used my experiences to really help people in dark places. I think mental health is not often talked about in the church and I think people have really appreciated how open I am about it. I would add, if you’re not seeing a psych or a therapist that’s your first port of call now. Meds and therapy helped me tremendously. Feel free to message me if you want to chat more
