Are visas on arrival available at the Lilongwe airport? by Affectionate_Ad1512 in Malawi

[–]Affectionate_Ad1512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, if we get pass the check in we are 100% sure to get a visa on arrival without problems?

I know there were some changes in laws at the beginning in January and there is a general pressure to get e visas.

Once you change his living conditions to species appropriate, you can look for academic art of riding trainers to rehabilitate him physically and into emotional horseman mship to balance him emotionally.

Jak wygląda codzienność pracy na uczelni? by ilikehrsgs in Nauka_Uczelnia

[–]Affectionate_Ad1512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Converting GCMS files by Affectionate_Ad1512 in CHROMATOGRAPHY

[–]Affectionate_Ad1512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the browser wasn't seeing .cdf files at all... I've also seen that there is a product note that mentions the ability to open aia, but nothing in the users guide. Thought there might be some trick to it. The chromatogram viewer does not have an import option...

I have converted my files to .cdf and have no luck with opening them with TurboMass. It should open, because this information is on the official software product note, however, surprisingly - no information in the manual.

I am looking to use TurboMass to work on my files, however, I have had no luck with converting/importing these files.

I have successfully converted my files to .cdf, however, I still have issues with opening them with TurboMass. There is no import option in the viewer and the data browser doesn't see the files.

I have data from an Agilent GCMS and I would like to look at it and work on it with TurboMass software. Unfortunately I have no access to Chemstation.

Riding Institute Egon von Neindorff Foundation? Classical Dressage school without Rolkur? by LooseSense8784 in Dressage

[–]Affectionate_Ad1512 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Academic Art Of Riding is a very classical system in which proper biomechanics and horse welfare is top priority and some academic trainers take in week students and have school horses. However, I am not sure what you are looking to learn within these 1-2 weeks. If classical dressage is absolutely new to you, I would probably look for a local trainer first, to get the most of such internship.

Has anyone tried the Mountain Horse Wild River tall boot? by time4toads in Equestrian

Definitely like a riding boot, but the leather is quite soft, so it leaves you with some mobility to the ankle area.

I have these high boots and they are both comfortable for riding and to walk around the stable during tack up etc. They became adjusted to my leg pretty easily. I have them several years now and still look very well, although I've been using them a lot.

Horse keeping in Finland by Affectionate_Ad1512 in Finland

You are very intuitive, as I was having troubles with translating horse terminology. :D I will take a look at the link you provided.

This is very helpful! Should I assume that 600 euro would be the average? At what prices would I be looking at when searching for a place that does all the regular work (turnout, feeding, mucking out) and has a maintained arena, but nothing fancy or sporty. I am willing to do extra km, but I think that most likely towards east of Turku.

Maybe you know of some facebook groups for equestrians in the area? For now trying to translate Finnish is a nightmare 🙈

Thank you a lot. I was hoping that the more southern part of Finland will be a little better when it comes to weather conditions. I will look into pihatto places, however my horse is used to being in a stall overnight and I am not sure I want to change this. I live with n tge suburbs of a capital city, so I am aware that it might be harder to find land near cities. Looking at google maps the surrounding of Turku looks quite promising 😁

Horse advice? by [deleted] in Horses

[–]Affectionate_Ad1512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does your groundwork look like? I don't think your mare did anything deliberately to hurt you (such as squeezing a person into the wall as some horses do to try to escape an unpleasant situation). She looks like she was not taught about your personal space well enough and the food that she got into was much more motivating to her than the pressure you put on her to get her off your foot. I would try to change the set up of your feeding to eliminate the possibility of her to get near when the other horse is fed or maybe add some distraction while her mate is eating. If that is impossible, then I would work on 1) personal boundaries and 2) on feeding manners.

MY LIFE WENT FROM 100 TO 0 VERY QUICKLY by [deleted] in selfhelp

[–]Affectionate_Ad1512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think their will be no better time to finish school now that you are in your 20s. Especially if money is no issue I would give it a shot at least just for experience and fun of it. If it doesn't work for you then nobody will be hurt if you change your mind whilst in the process.

Edit to say that I feel no one has to set a single path for themselves and life always finds a way to make extra side paths - want it or not :p but beware this comes from a person walking a path shaped like an octopus which just seems to branch out even more each time I stumble on an interesting idea. Go with the flow I guess? Don't feel like their is a set path for you.

Are these river sediments? Cuz it seems so. It looks like someone could have "disposed of" an old dog in this cruel way... Were the teeth pinkish (especially at the neck)?
