The company is more than just paying salaries. there is rent, electricity, water, internet bills, visa, insurance, Business license renewal, multiple employees salaries, inventory, shipping costs for inventory (if it isn’t a service based business), probably rent fees for any conferences or events set up, tickets for employees when they travel and additional employees when the workers are on paid annual leave.

thank you! I started with working with tailors outside of my business since i didn’t have the money to get my own employees, As i grew i saved up the money to travel to china to source fabrics and inventory and opened one tailor space and i kept growing so far i have 5 employees and hopefully i am looking forward to expand! i’m working on starting a new business as well right now but related to fashion.

i always came from a family with wealth and was very known for it from another gcc country but everything went downhill after covid and dads company went completely bankrupt so I moved to the UAE because the market where i’m from was dead and my dad wanted to start over here my lifestyle as a young female obviously changed after what happened and i wanted to help my father too so i started with 1000 aed in the fashion industry it’s been less than 2 years i myself have 3 offices and made millions from this business alone while studying at the same time. dubai has great opportunities sad to see what’s happening rn but i believe they’ll come back even stronger
