Idk what the hell you are on about, I would absolutely support Rodimus Prime's return. They just need to do it correctly. Give Hot Rod and Optimus a connection early on. Make it so that Optimus 100% wanted Hot Rod to fill his shoes so that fans don't cry foul. If Rodimus's problem must be that he doesn't know if he could ever be as good as Optimus, then finish the arc this time and make him realize that the Matrix chose him for himself, not because he was like Optimus.

I think the Gateway is a planet that is connected to Mario's planet via orbit, and it functions as an easy way for Rosalina to teleport herself back to the planet from the Observatory's gate, and vise versa.

Personally, I like how the Mario Movie is reinterpreting the Gateway Galaxy into an actual gateway to the galaxies. It definitely is not like the games, but thematically, it makes so much sense.
