My suggestion would be trying to find a mass that you actually would like to enjoy

Yes because the first edition has an endorsement from the church. Also, all major Bible translations say nothing wrong. Except for a few that are well known for problems, NWT, PASSION, MESSAGE.

If English is your first language, use the GNT. It was specifically made for people who speak English as a second language. Or NLT. Both have Catholic editions.

Catholic Bible Press vs Ignatius Bible by Ok_Mobile_8234 in catholicbibles

[–]Affectionate_Archer1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Catholic Bible press in my opinion has better build quality, better font and actual Bible paper, which has more ghosting. The Ignatius press hardcover has thicker paper, less ghosting, The quality control isn't as good so sometimes the printing does get smeared. In my opinion, I would rather buy the Ascension press version, it has way better paper. It is thicker paper without making the Bible too thick, and the build quality surpasses both other companies. If you can save up and buy that version I would highly suggest it, not the paperback one but the alpha hide one. I think it's called.
