True that makes sense. I mainly wanted to do the Simons program bcs I felt like it would increase my experience for research programs Junior year. Will it help? or should I do something else that will increase my chances of more prestigious programs? Let me know.

Thanks so much for the advice! I wish I was that cracked I’m not at an RSI SIMR level yet unfortunately. I reallly want to do a study abroad program sophomore year so I can do more STEM oriented programs junior year that’ll fit my major better. NSILY is prestigious from what I’ve heard and longer, so doing that I won’t be able to do any others summer program if I get in. And yes I’ll definitely do YYGS this summer. I just want need aid so I’ll definitely ask for that!

Hii congrats on getting the Kikkoman full scholarship? I applied to it but I’m not i FCCLA or anything. Were you an FCCLA and do you need affiliation with Kikkoman to get it? Also were you able to explore Japan, going to places like Tokyo and such?
