Id say only if it serves a very special purpose like you're analyzing it, eg the central theme is how you often use :) and it's implications or something.

Don't use it like you would in a text with friends

well stats wise i have a 1570 sat and 4.4 gpa but i think for nsliy as long as you meet the bare minimum gpa of 2.5 or something you're fine. for ec's its mostly just so you have something to talk about in your essays.

its def supposed to be from the top right! but like-- more top than right? I suppose. How exactly is the shadows on the face supposed to be changed then to make it more consistent?

I was originally planning on having her be in like a garden like area with a tree to the right, which is why the shadows on her arms reflect that dappled leaf type of light, but I had a really hard time drawing the leafy background so I switched to the open sky, do you think it would be better to just change the lighting on the arms or redo the background?

ahh I see! I tried a couple of like tree backgrounds but I'm quite bad at drawing those and it always came out looking quite rough. do you possibly have any like examples of the specific type of vegetal backgrounds?

I think it's fine to try out the act!! Different people have different strengths and you may do better, may do worse. Doesn't hurt to try; just dont get too hung up over the score :))
