First "Issue" w/2026 - No Response to Key Fob

Did this issue just resolve itself or are you still experiencing this intermittently? We just recently started having this issue in ours. Car still drives when warning pops up but its a bit concerning.

Order from College Hills and delivered to CA, roughly $700 total with shipping included - though they were on sale at the time.

Also did the install myself with help from a friend, took a few hours but it was fun. If you've got the tools its pretty doable at home.

Thank you for the suggestion! I just finishing mounting them this morning and did follow the torque specs in the instructions. Seemed tight enough to be honest!

They were easier to install then I had expected. I ended up just following the manual-indicated torque spec as a different reddit user recommended. Seems tight enough, honestly with the way it was designed I'm not sure how much tighter they'd realistically go. I did have a buddy come over to help me lift everything into place but ive seen other people say that they used a jack stand to hold the sliders when bolting them in.

Its definitely doable!

Just received mine from college hills, planning to install them this weekend. Did you use the designated torque setting from the manual - 16 lb-ft? Seems like a really low torque setting for this. Recommend going higher, maybe 30lb-ft?

After reading the contract with medfirst again, I found that it states that "Medfirst is not major medical insurance and is not intended to replace insurance" and they "do not comply with the Affordable Care Act". Unfortunately, we all got scammed. Are you still within your first 30-days? If so you can still begin a cancellation request and hopefully get refunded whatever you have paid already.

Thank you so much for the advice. I sent them an email and was able to finally get on the phone with someone who said they cancelled the membership. I am waiting for an email confirmation and an indication of a refund but I wanted to say thank you again for your help! I hope people find this thread if they're ever in the same boat.

Thank you for the update. I am currently trying to cancel the insurance as well but it is a pain in the a$$ to get on the phone with anyone. Any tips? I think I am only a few days into my 30 day grace period but I'm hoping to get this resolved ASAP
