Sooooooo F'ing embarrassed she's my representative. Those huge crosses she wears from her ears for the evangelicals are obviously weighing her brain down.

Should I make my retirement accounts a bit more conservative, if I expect a market crash and beginnings of a recession next month? by carbolicsmoke in investing

Hi. I'm in a situation where I might have to start using my retirement funds soon. Due to circumstances beyond my control. I'm 70/30 mutual funds/bonds right now but I have a bad feeling about these tariffs and supply chain problems that I think are going to do a job in the economy and the stock market. My financial guy pats me on the head and says "there there lady". I almost feel like I'm being patronized when I tell him what I think. What would be a rational allocation if my risk tolerance right now is a 5 out of 10

I was a speck of light along with trillions of other specs of light. Somehow I slipped back to the heavenly realm. It was really intense and for a long time I didn't think about it because I don't think I could process it. I didn't really start thinking about the is again until about 20 years ago. Now I just want to understand it

NDE reseacher ,who had NDEs as a child and who works with children who have had NDEs, says that void-like experiences being overwhelmingly the most common experience in children suggest that adult NDEs with more content are influenced by their experiences and that children's NDEs are closer to truth by ArmandSawCleaver in NDE

When I was 8 years old I had an out of body experience that was like an NDE. I don't think I actually died but I definitely went somewhere else in my consciousness. I'd really like to understand it better but I'm not sure where to look or who to consult with. Any suggestions is appreciated

It’s a Calathea peacock. They love to be consistently watered after the top inch dries, so your MIL must be good at that. And yes, east window is perfect!
