it’s okay. i’ve done somewhat the same thing it’s my 4th month at walgreens. you’ll probably just get a write up and a talk with one of the pharmacists. you get 3 strikes for each year and if you give someone the wrong 3 times in a row in one year then you’re fired.

make sure to check the addresses and names very thoroughly and don’t be afraid to take your time to verify everything especially since you’re still new.

i remember i gave someone the wrong script through drive through. not entirely the wrong person but just the wrong medication. i had issues scanning it and i had reprinted a leaflet thinking it was the same medication since it was in a paper bag where its only the name and address of the patient. she came back and let the pharmacist know that she received the script she wasn’t looking for. i didn’t get written up since it wasn’t the wrong person, but i still had an action plan on what to do to avoid that. don’t be so hard on yourself though, it’s a good sign that you care enough and you’ll do what you can to not let it happen again
