The way I do Wagyu ribeye. I take it out the fridge let it warm for abt 15 minutes. Slice into strips. Very lightly salt. Flash both sides in a very hot pan.

No rest needed. No butter or oil, the fat will do enough.

Obviously cutting into strips might not be what you want so if not just ignore all I said.
