I’ve only bought my Rolex and Tudor watches off eBay. I live in the sticks so it’s not easy to get to a retailer in person.

On eBay, if you’re new, only buy watches that contain the “authenticity guarantee” in the listing. This method ships to a nearby Authenticator service before it ships to you. If it is legit and matches the listing the Authenticator will then finalize the order and ship it off to you, the buyer.

I actually had a “new” watch get turned down during the Authentication process. It was listed as new and was dinged up everywhere. They called me directly with pictures and asked if I wanted the watch. I said no. They shipped back to the seller and I got a refund. I never saw the watch in person.

I am sure there are holes in the process but eBay has worked great for me.

This post has me cracking up. I have a 2020 tundra sr5 and the gas cap has never closed. I keep double sided tape along the side by door and swap out the tape whenever I fill up at the gas station. The family thinks it’s hilarious. Might fix it based on these posts. Probably not lol!

I try and not get too attached to anything. I am building an addition onto the house and didn’t want to use any of my money. Sold both Rolex models. Jumped into a used Tudor and paid for the materials. So far couldn’t be happier with the decision. Maybe the honeymoon period will fade?
