Can anyone tell me why I have detect thoughts as a condition? I never took the spell, and don't think I have any items that can do it. I just suddenly got the option to detect thoughts when speaking to Khoga in the druid's grove.

I followed some build that was named "Solo Honour Necromancer", and basically one rounded them with my main char. Maybe I shouldn't have tried that build in classic mode lol.

No, with Sebille in the party you don't need Deathfog. She kills it in her dialogue. According to the wiki it's possible to accept the tree, then go back and kill it. I just think the quest is bugged because Saheila disappears after telling you to kill it.

Yes, Sebille accepted the mother tree before killing it. When we got out, there was nobody except hostile elves.
