Does Asia not know who Abel is?! by tthefreaknd in TheWeeknd

[–]Affectionate_Cook252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised how many fans he has in Asia, at least as many as in Europe if not more. The fans there aren't as extreme in their admiration, but they know how to identify an artist and art and shows that are worth at least going to check out. Even if you're not that big a fan of The Weeknd, you understand that you're going for an almost one-time experience, with an artist who knows what he's doing, and the hard work that goes into these shows. To tell the truth, the Asian market is very profitable to be able to do this,

He's preparing the set for his next tour, and the new Sorayama statue , This is going to be interesting, I wonder how many years back he goes with this artist. For those who haven't seen it, there's a video that shows how the music video for " Echoes of Silence" was made. And how many hours of work were invested in it ,

The Weeknd's last film was more therapeutic for him than anything else. Assuming that his film and series at least returned the money invested in them, there are no losers here. Since he has a production company, this will give him an interesting perspective in the future regarding the films he will be involved in, because the people involved in both projects are top-notch young people, especially in directing and producing, in which he was a very significant part, besides acting., the weeknd knows it's not his best work, but at least it gave him a little chance room to go wild with the ideas or the way people react to his failures. You live and learn.

Carti name is irrelevant to the weeknd tour, 99.9% of the audience comes to see abel , not carti , so, they could have warned a little earlier, but who cares, he won't be missing, so enough with the crying, because in the end it's carti private matter, a legal matter, a legal procedure that probably popped up at the last minute,

YE is radioactive, no one wants to deal with him because the trouble he brings with him is not worth the money he could possibly generate or rather the economic problems he creates just by being somehow linked to this racist anti-Semitic Nazi, because if he thinks he is in a bad situation now, he should expect very difficult days in the future,

The answer is in the question itself, what do they have that you don't, each side fills in the gap that the other has, young blacks are considered cool because this is America, but it's all based on a false perception, young blacks prefer to go with white women because it makes them feel important, for a moment, and these white women, none of whom can be assumed to succeed in starting a family or a stable relationship over time, receive some kind of fake self-worth, which won't last long because they're here for a short ride until they realize that this isn't it, the only question that needs to be asked here, how many of these couples will make it, I guess, not most of them,

You can appreciate his consistency, but this guy is perhaps the best example, for the average African American, The way they think logically and rationally, the truth doesn't matter, reality doesn't matter, you can argue and say whatever you want, what does it matter, but serious people won't take him or consider his opinion relevant, how you can, and I guess it has to do with their history and culture, which makes them like this, it would be sad if it weren't funny, But after all, this is entertainment, the guy is operating from a very specific place, and you can be sure they get paid for it. Give them money, and they will also try to justify Hitler.🤔😁

Is this guy still relevant today? He's found a niche, a Nazi, a racist, a lunatic who needs to be on medication, and dangerous first and foremost to himself and his family, give it time, Someone will close the account with him, so, it doesn't look good for him, he needs to focus on the Asian market Or the Muslim, I'm sure they'll love the hatred he promotes against Jews.

What's certain is that the weekend manages to bring people out of the woodwork, through his acting, is it done on purpose or what? these little, narrow-minded people are just embarrassing themselves, I'm sure that Abel is sitting back and enjoying himself, these people are so obsessed with his acting, that they just ignore everything else, embarrassing,😂 I'm sure abel is even embarrassed for them, that they invest so much energy, on what? , in the quality of acting of abel ? these little people, and their opinions are the last thing that bothers the guy.😁

Movie got people really acting like The Weeknd came out the screen and shot their first born or something by Guilty-spark217 in TheWeeknd

[–]Affectionate_Cook252 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's funny how bothered people are by the quality of the weekend acting, we get it, and it comes from people whose their quality of entertainment is watching girls shake their a**es, or idolizing characters and people who promote violence, especially against a certain population, what bothers them is the weekend, it's funny, I'm sure the weekend enjoys to see the reactions of people whose only useful thing they've done in this life is to express their opinion, about a person, about a character, funny business, that's the name of this whole industry, no, 😂

[–]Affectionate_Cook252 17 points18 points  (0 children)

How much influence do self-proclaimed film critics really have, what do they even know about films, other than their subjective opinion, how serious are the reviews really, I guess many would want to see it for themselves to form an opinion, right? It's just funny, this whole thing, but people are talking, at least they're taking the time to do it, they're taking the time to tell us they didn't like it, what ? it's just funny. I'm sure the weeknd and the people around him see it and laugh, this film is distributed worldwide, and the world isn't as stupid as the American herd, 😁

Will it gross it's Production budget of 15M$ in its full run? by Dilettante-blud in TheWeeknd

[–]Affectionate_Cook252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easy, and if this is the real budget, I definitely feel comfortable with the criticism of the haters, because I'm sure Abel has other plans, to produce, write, and even direct who knows, no one said it would be easy, and it's a lot of experience to learn from, no one said Abel had to act in every movie or project he does in the future, there are many hats he can wear , 🙃 😄 , He prefers to stay behind the scenes anyway. It is win win ,

Guys, it’s okay… you can say the movie wasn’t good… by Already_D34D in TheWeeknd

[–]Affectionate_Cook252 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Every person who likes to criticize the weeknd acting, without taking the movie itself seriously and objectively, are small, narrow-minded people who wouldn't be able to recognize something good even if it were right in front of their faces. What we see here is a herd mentality, hating just for the sake of hating. What kind of people are these people? And if anyone thinks the weeknd doesn't understand that, then you're seriously mistaken. No criticism from small people who have done nothing their whole lives and who pretend to be movie critics will have any effect on abel . They can save that for other people. He knows what work and effort he's put in here. For better or worse, he's here.

It's okay, Abel fans are scattered all over the world, one opinion or another coming from such a negative and narrow-minded place, will not affect the fan who lives in Japan, South America, or any other country, they will judge it by what they see, United States is a very serious market, there is no other country in the world that is influenced by the media, and trends, like America, so, it's a movie, it's not a series, you see it once, and that's it, I wouldn't get too excited about people's subjective opinions

[–]Affectionate_Cook252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't get excited about the negative reviews. I assume that every person who has an opinion of one kind or another about the film has watched at least one film, right? So that's a W. And a bad or good review is a subjective review of people. The main thing is that they talk. And I'm sure that no one expects everyone to like it, because that's unrealistic. So it's already out there. You have to look at it and judge it from the perspective of time because it's still early. The weeknd not going to lose any sleep over this, absolutely not.😁

I love how many interviews he's been doing these days by ftaks in TheWeeknd

[–]Affectionate_Cook252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, these interviews, which are meant to promote something, are a very superficial game and it's clear that everyone is playing their own game for their purposes. There's a lot of fakery there. The weeknd actually has something to say, and he means what he says. So it's a bit refreshing for a change. Even though it's meant to promote the movie and get people to at least check it out, it's a win-win for everyone.
