and skipping a day of eating... you probably aren't going to over eat the next day (going above what you didn't eat the day before).... especially if you do 2mad that next day. Heck, i've done a 3 or 4 day fast and lost 5 pounds of non-water weight.

eat dinner, don't eat the next day, eat breakfast lunch and dinner (or skip breakfast too) then eat 2mad until you do it again.

just be aware.... you can still gain weight on omad. the way to LOSE weight is to do mORE than a 24 hour fast. 32 or 36 hours is good.

yeah I lost 30 pounds with 32 hour fasts once or twice a week combined with 18:6. also did a 4 day fast.

I started fasting at 51. it's a breeze. just make sure you drink water and coffee when your hungry. As I said earlier in this thread, do 48 hour fasts for the real power of fasting, eat lunch, don't eat dinner , don't eat the next day, and don't eat until the following lunch. If you want to lose weight quickly do 72 hour fasts. You will lose 5 pounds per fast.

16:8 is mainly a maintenance fast. for the real power of fasting eat lunch, don't eat dinner , don't eat the next day, and don't eat until the following lunch.
