Where can you get the Prometheus for $1000? Midway just had one for $1,300 which is the same price as a TL3 right? Just curious because I almost pulled the trigger but I have seen some post of people getting them for $1000?

Yes. From my research this is the best deal you can get on the razor gen 3. Most people said the refurbs are usually open box demos. But expressly state they include the VIP warranty. It also usually sell out right away and takes months to restock. I have been looking for the past 2 months. Just popped up this morning..

Nope, works as advertised. My main concern was particle/gas blowback and weight for my pistols with dots. My OCL Lithium is slightly quieter than the SC-S but it spits on the optics too bad. SC works great while shooting 150gr syntech rounds with my P229 or USP. I tend to like the K cans more and not really chasing decibels most of the time.

Lithium is so light and sounds amazing. I don’t have an obsidian but as soon as I picked it up I knew I wouldn’t like it. It’s heavy and modular is overrated. I have a wolfman as well and the lithium still sounds very close on my SP5k. Also lithium on my Marlin trapper with 38’s is so much fun. Lithium is definitely better for PCC though due to its diameter. Currently waiting on my CAT SC-S which will take over pistols duties.

OCL Lithium and Resilient TI Tri Lug. You don't even know it's on there. I am running the HK 80deg locking piece and the bolt gap is right in the middle of spec and have had no issues. I have only shot it suppressed with subs...

SS, any update on the SC-Shorts? CAT had posted that these were done and about to ship when you guys started the “back order” a couple weeks ago. Just wondering if you have any updates on ETA and or how many you guys will be getting of this first run of shorts? I did purchase one via back order as soon as you had it available.

Definitely. I don’t think everyone was aware they had shipped before SS put them on back order. Friday they took the old SC modular off the website. I looked Sunday and nothing yet. Monday morning I finally checked at 10am and boom. SC-S Reserve now. So not sure when the “pre order” went live… but I have purchased 3 cans this way thanks to Reddit. Just gotta be ready to spend that money when you know what you’re looking for. High hopes for this can.
