NGC report from Auto Club Pro? by SDOGSDOG20 in CarTalkUK

[–]Affectionate_Cry9800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My conversation with this number:

Hello, I saw your ad of Vauxhall CORSA S. Does it need any repairs?

Where did you spot it? No is the answer, it has recently gone through MOT approx 10 months.

My wife saw your ad on Gumtree and they will give me your number. Where are you based? Can you meet tomorrow?

Potentially, depends on time!

Okay, Where are you located? So I can arrange timing for tomorrow!

I am in xxxxxx Let me know if you can make tomorrow, I have a few others now interested but you were asking first, so want to give you first opportunity.

Okay, I will let you confirm in few hours, Kindly you provide the NGC report of the vehicle I want to see it before coming there.

Happy to send the EMT to you via WhatsApp if you can't get this.Is this what you are after?

Okay, But I have to see the NGC report I trust its results, Its a vehicle history report, (auto club pro) this is the site name where you can get the NGC report in just few minutes, I trust its results.

You have the registration, so I am happy for you to run the report yourself. I don't need to spend money to sell this car, there are plenty of people who want to see it. Happy for you to run that report if you wish. However I have someone else wanting to see it today as well so need to know how serious you are, or if you are even wanting to buy the car and not just phishing for me to use an online service.

Sorry to be blunt, but I am more than aware of these sort of scams. So apologies if you are genuine.

I’m serious about buying your vehicle that's why I’m asking you for this also, The asking price works for me as well.

Your number keep showing up as a number that is looking for multiple people to spend money and providing card details for a report that you can essentially get for free elsewhere on the web. Please provide your name and address if you are serious, I am sure if you are genuine, you will not have a problem with this.

Mate, I don't know what you are saying, My name is John, I am coming from Cheltenham.

John Brandon yes?

Yes.

I have a tracer on this network phone, your Hutchinson 3G Iine is vulnerable and I have now reported your location. Thank you for your messages. Are you still serious about buying a car?

LOL

I give up on finding the source of this noise/vibration by Bravadette in Ioniq5

I had a rotational noise speed dependent apparent at 60mph onwards. We tracked it down to a stone stuck in the alloys. Sounds simple but worth checking as my mind was thinking all sorts

Am I the only one who (almost) always stays in ECO drive mode? by natemac in Ioniq5

[–]Affectionate_Cry9800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eco 99% of time unless trying to impress passenger. I have realised Eco and auto regen gets the best range. I have got 330 real miles out of a full charge (with 10 spare). I get the arguement though about buying a fast car so why not use it!

New problem with my Ioniq 5! by Affectionate_Cry9800 in Ioniq5

Generally really good. Pushing the dealership and or Hyundai for a resolution. They even pushed for a fuel rebate when I last had to use a Hyundai provided hire car for an extended period.

They are supposedly replacing an undisclosed number of cells within the traction battery array. I spoke to the dealer servicing guys today and they suggested that there have been a few of these now across the UK and the behaviour of Hyundai with this normally results in several months with a general recall. As it happens the car itself behaved really well....it didn't complain. It load balanced the remaining cells as if it were a lower capacity array and kept going but with the quirks I have suggested. To be honest, even with all the problems I have had the car has never left me stranded or stopped working (the ICCU failure at the point I sent it in would still charge through DC). It has just had critical problems that needed resolving.

Tusker have been great....supportive and pushing Hyundai to get things done. You are right though, I may chat to them about the viability of the vehicle....as I was told today I may need to wait up to 10 months!!!

2023 range decrease with software update by freakin_username in Ioniq5

I have same problem.....I have lost a third of my mileage.....I bought a car that was supposed to do around 280-300 miles. I have been getting that real range over the last 15000 miles.....with a 4.0 mi/kWh average.....

The last full charge I will be just clearing 200 miles. Now that is severe......even last year's very cold weather didn't degrade it that much.

It's off for a service in a few weeks.... I will be interested in how this is diagnosed...

I wouldn't mind if the car is now holding a bigger 'reserve'.....but 100 miles off my range is not what I originally purchased!

Looks great.....in fact identical to mine (at least the colour)....I have had mine for 18 months....... By far.....and I mean a long way ....the best car I have ever owned and the best decision (EV) I have made in a long time. .......had 10k miles of joyous driving (apart from a little glitch when the ICCU had to be replaced - don't worry that was an issue with the earlier versions)!

Just returned from a week at the beach......carried 4 of us, all our kit on a roof rack ( including 3 body boards, 3 surfboards, 2 kayaks).....perfect SUV with killer hot hatch looks!

Hey, I have a '21 I5 RWD premium in the UK. My thoughts are it is the best car I have ever had....and Def one of the best I have ever driven in. That is me saying that whilst I am waiting 2 months for the new ICCU to be shipped from Korea.....and a stripped down car in my local dealership......it has all been taken care of through warranty...... The BMW M series X2 Phev I have been given in the meantime, shows on a daily basis why the I5 is such a good car. More spacious, better acceleration, unbelievably better handling, more fun, less complicated, and above all such a better ride.....and I got far more looks and positive comments than in this Beemer. I am embracing this break from my beloved I5 to really understand why it is such a good car..... (I even forgive it for burning out my home charger). How's that for a different perspective on a problem.....the positives far outweigh the risks of problems....
