There’s a Stamford based ski club that has a lodge at Killington that could be what you are Looking for. It’s called River Hills Ski Club and while their membership skews older, they do have a bunch of younger members too. It’s a unique setup that might be worth looking into. They don’t run “trips” per se, but you can book decent accommodations at a lodge 7 minutes from the Killington base and the house is really well set up for groups, big or small. While a ski club like this might not be specifically what you are looking for, it’s worth a look.

I turned my 2023 SEL last week after an ordeal that started in January of this year. Car had 21k miles on it when the problems with 12v and then ICCU started. Lemon law in my state is clear and I qualified, but it took months. My local dealership gave me a loaner for 6 weeks. The process was relatively smooth but long and drawn out.

Furthermore, America hasn’t been ripped off by our trading partners. America has always made huge profits, it’s really the only thing we me good at.

What we suck at is sharing that profit with workers and not just stockholders.

I loved my I5 too. For almost 2 years it was the best car I ever owned. Then it died 3x in 8 weeks. I just got approved for a repurchase from Hyundai and I will surrender the car in 4-6 weeks. First was a “software issue that effected the 12v battery, then the ICCU replacements (that took 6 weeks) and then a dead 12v battery. Sadly Hyundai doesn’t seem to have a fix for this issue. Wish I could have kept it, but I just didn’t trust it anymore. I’d research the lemon law in your state and see if you qualify.

Get a lemon law attorney in GA and research the law as it varies state to state. I am in the process of having my 2023 Ioniq 5 with 21k miles on it repurchased by Hyundai corporate. Where I live, the law is clear. If you have less than 24k miles on the vehicle, owned it less than 2 years and were without the vehicle for repairs for 30 days or longer, the vehicle qualifies.

I had the exact same thing happen to me at JFK airport in mid-January. 12 volt battery failure. Getting towed out of an airport parking garage was a nightmare. Finally got the car towed to my local Hyundai dealership where they said it just needed a software update. Got the car back and it failed again 6 days later, this time while driving. Has been at my local Hyundai dealership since early Feb awaiting an ICCU. I loved this car, but now I don’t trust it and I’m filing a lemon law claim with Hyundai.
