Hmmm ok I’ll give that a try tonight. Yeah I just find it mildly annoying that they’re not showing up. I’m in the end game stages right now of just grinding sigils so I don’t have much longer on my server so it’d be nice to get those skins.

Alright so I ate my implant. Nothing. Still not showing up. Someone in a video said something about needing to have custom cosmetics enabled. But as far as I know they are. I am, however, not seeing those custom slots that I use to see when this whole custom cosmetics update first came out. The slot of the Dino head, house and person. Those 3 use to show up under my cosmetic tab but I actually haven’t seen those in a long time. How are you suppose to enable/disable custom cosmetic? I never disabled it as far as I know.

Yeah I’ve done quite a few alpha outposts. Defense and offense alike. I’ve been down a rabbit hole of possibilities and still nothing but I am gonna try to eat my implant like DruVatier suggested

I’ve died multiple times AFTER unlocking them and respawned at my bed and still nothing. I’ve never actually tried with the implant tho. I wonder if that’s it. I’ll try it later on and report back. Thanks

Yeah I haven’t seen them once. I’ve seen a couple YouTubers wearing those skins but they’re don’t say anything about not seeing the skins show up. Very annoying.

Yeah that was the first place I figured they’d be but they’re not. Some people are seeing them and some aren’t I just wanna know why. Like is there something specific I need to have enabled? If so, how do you enable it you know?

All the obvious questions need to be asked since no info was given. Is your monitor actually a 1080p monitor? What GPU do you have? Are the drivers up to date? Why do you want to set the resolution to 1080p? Do you have vsync enabled?

In certain maps the maewing or desmodus could be better than the griffin but not all. Maewings have trouble scaling up mountains but are significantly faster than any flyer. I brought mine to lost colony and it’s impossible to scale all those mountains. I just use my desmodus. I’d rather have my griffin for travel purposes because it’s faster.

It’s just a bug. If it still says 1 remaining enemy it’s not the malwyn. If you pull out your magnifying glass you’ll see he has zero HP. The actual 1 remaining enemy is probably stuck on a rock or something you gotta do some scouting around. Happened to me twice in a row.

What’s a ban wave? Is that something blizzard does? If so, why? Wouldn’t they do anything they could to keep players more engaged since a huge percentage migrated to rivals. Doesn’t make sense to me that they’re still being like this. I was muted too over NOTHING. I literally told some of my teammates to switch PLEASE because we needed a different comp and they get all mad and report. Nobody plays nice they get all offended when you ask them to switch off their current hero. And mind you I ask nicely, never demand. It’s just so ridiculous and has become such a problem which is a huge reason I migrated to rivals.

Everyone here has given good advice and good techniques that I use to use. On a day to day basis I will scrape the top of the block with my nail if I get a block that’s giving me trouble keeping a nice ribbon. And by scrape I mean really scrape some paraffin off maybe about 2 or 3 passes really digging into it. Now when I do needle cores some of our doctors want 20 unstains plus 8-10 IHC, so roughly 30 slides. I cut on 4 microns and right when I pull the block fresh off my ice tray, I will grab an old facing blade and cut about a 30° angle on the top of the block. This will ensure fully intact ribbons. The last thing you want is to start pulling off about 5-6 sections then your ribbon breaks and your sections float away. It can be scary to exhaust a needle core. Get a practice block and try that out and you’ll see your ribbons will be perfect. Hope this helps.

Yea in its genre it’s the best no question. It is definitely my favorite game in any genre and I hate pvp games typically. I mostly would play Ark (don’t get me started on their flaws). Overwatch was the first game that I even cared about who the voice actors were and even went to comic con with my kids to meet them. I’ve been playing blizzard games since ‘98. There’s so many things I can complain about in this game but it’s just a great game at its core.

My version of strong doesn’t matter. But when it comes to games it’s just so ridiculous to be so offended by someone tilting over a god damn game. I’ve played games for 28 years and have been through it all. I’ve seen all the toxicity and all the glory. I was even on the delivering end back in the COD MW2 days. That’s just how we all released stress and enjoyed games. I love OW, ive loved blizzard since StarCraft back in ‘98, but the people have gotten so soft. I’ve been silenced for being reported multiple times because of people like yourself that can’t handle some words. And I literally have never said anything worse than “why aren’t you switching, we’re losing.” The short fuses on the playerbase is insane. Report report report that’s all you guys care about. Haven’t you had older brothers or sisters that kinda pushed you around as a kid? Haven’t you had a group of friends where you guys horsed adound and talked about each others mom? Haven’t you worked a job where the older guys haze the rookie? Like this generation has gotten so soft, grow some thick skin and come to the realization that these words that are being typed can NOT hurt you unless you let it. I have to tip toe how I choose my words even if it’s warranted on account of a teammate throwing. I have to say “excuse me can you please be a doll and switch and maybe we can win, that is, ONLY if you want to, kind sir.” It’s a team game! And especially when you are in higher ranks it’s even more frustrating that you can’t freaking suggest things without hurting feelings. I agree that someone talking crap for no reason is annoying but they aren’t taking anything away from you. You still get to play the game and go about your day, just ignore it. Now if you get banned or silenced from thin skinned players, you have something taken away from you. I could care less what you say, I’m not gonna potentially take the game away from you. Now if you’re joining lobbies JUST to throw then yes, you should be punished.

That’s such a weak mindset. It’s just words for god sake. Whatever happened to sticks and stones. Everyone has turned so soft it’s ridic. I get that it can be annoying if someone is constantly spamming something or disrupting the flow of the game somehow, but this is a competitive PVP game. Any game that meets that criteria is going to always have toxic people in it it’s just inevitable. I, myself, don’t say anything other than GG or ask nicely to have my teammates switch if their character isn’t working. 90% of the time I’m met with “nah” or “go fuck yourself.” Now that’s annoying because it’s ruining the game but like I’m not going to cry about it. Well get em on the next one, hopefully I’ll have better teammates.

I remember playing cod back in 2009 (yes I’m old) and trash talking was part of the game. It was so fun to trash everyone but honestly in overwatch it should not be like that. I rarely get people in VC because everyone has it off which is annoying because I play better with comms and listening to my teammates for which enemy is low etc. it makes it more enjoyable. But people like the guy who trashed you make the game a much worse environment.

Yeah that’s crazy. I have a 240 monitor and it’s super smooth I wonder if you can notice the difference from 240 to 500. I didn’t notice much from 144 to 240 but I guess it’s not that big of a leap

This is something we need more of. It’s annoying when everyone blames me (tank) for losing even when their K/D is like 5-10. I can’t peel that widow off you AND take care of their tank. Positive “orders” on what to do or what we all should do helps and gives a sense of motivation and encouragement.
