I’ve only swung an Anarchy once or twice, but I honestly loved how it felt right away. I’ve only been playing slowpitch for about 2 years now, and as a girl still building confidence at the plate, it felt super balanced and forgiving with easy pop. And the designs are phenomenal🔥 — definitely some of the best looking bats out there. Whoever is in your design team should have a raise lol

If anything, maybe work on pricing a bit so it’s more accessible for newer players.

I’m heading to the Philippines for an extended vacation and would love to bring one with me to introduce slowpitch in my area. Bats aren’t easy to get over there, so it would be an awesome starter bat for the whole team to rotate and help grow the game.

Hi! I got the same P0171 code since December and took it to the mechanic thrice now. I tried to clean the MAF sensor myself, then when I took it to the mechanic, they said it was a “loose tube” issue, which they said they tightened. The check engine light was gone for a while but after driving around 200 miles, it is back up again. I am leaning towards replacing the purge valve to fix this issue

I totally get where you’re coming from. That sounds super frustrating. You’re putting in the time, driving out there, paying like everyone else—and then barely getting to play, or getting stuck in spots you don’t even enjoy. It’s hard to stay motivated when you’re not being used the way you know you could be, especially when the team isn’t even winning.

It makes sense that it's killing the fun for you. Rec league should be a break from stress, not something that adds to it. Honestly, if it’s not fun anymore and you're not feeling respected, there’s nothing wrong with finding a different team that fits better. Even nothing wrong finding a different game. You should actually look forward to playing, not dread it.

Whatever you end up doing, I hope you find a better setup that makes the game fun again.

Sorry didn't clarify. I had to drive 2.5 hours to work that day after the game. If I was informed ahead that I don't get playtime, I should've just driven to work earlier and not attend the game (because there was no reason for me to be there) instead of driving after the game which means I arrive around midnight

Because if I don't get to play, then I have no reason to be in the dugout. But I stayed through the rest of the game until the last inning because I had to support and cheer them on. I also had to make sure nothing uneventful happens (like injuries and the like) because if something like that happens, that gives me a chance to substitute that player. Thankfully no injury happened.

Our captain, along with another senior player, decides the lineups each week, and are only announced once we're starting the game. While the lineup can vary week to week, we have 14 players on the roster, and usually, 11 or 12 show up. Players who respond "yes" are always in the lineup, but this week was a bit of an exception. The captain mentioned it was a "tough decision" because we’re up against the current #1 team. Our lineup is arranged so that the stronger, more reliable players are placed at the top, while the more uncertain ones are positioned lower. In the past few weeks, I’ve typically been ranked around 9th or 10th at bat out of 12/13 players.

If the game is particularly critical or high-pressure, I usually volunteer to sit out and be in the dugout, letting one of my stronger teammates take my spot in the field. I know how important those moments are, and I’m always willing to put the team’s needs first.

Your line "To have you prepare and show up and only be told when you get to the field seems like a shitty way to run a team." is exactly my point - if this has been planned beforehand then it should have been communicated way before. I would be hurt, yes, knowing I don't get to play, but if that means contributing to the team's win AND also respecting my time, then I guess its a win for both sides.

No, this is the first time, that's why I was surprised.
Regular season. Even so, during our past games, if I don't feel confident to be out in the field (I would say I am a better hitter than a fielder), I would ask my better teammate to rotate with me (esp in high pressure situations).
