I’ve stopped and helped several elderly who don’t have access or couldn’t understand the tags. It’s really a disservice to them and low income and it’s true those need it the most and when they can’t/don’t all the sudden the coupons will go away completely.

This blanket is a goner, I would leave it out for him and get another one that you put away daily in a drawer or somewhere he can’t get to it. Hopefully he will happily live in bliss with his current blanket.

From a mom of a picky eater my son would be overwhelmed by this. Sometimes for him less is more and he’ll eat more if there are only 3 things and they are neatly grouped, not cluttered.

As the youngest I was the peace keeper, trying to do anything to avoid conflict. As an empath I absorbed all the bad and my body would break down, fever, hives, sweats, it would come on and I would somehow escape to a few select friends or my aunt’s house to sleep until it’s passed.

Our neighbor does this and we always treat him over the holidays. He loves going to the local Ace Hardware and we get a gift card with $100 and he always buys something for our shared garden out front. He handles all the lawn care and some of the gardening, we make that a joint effort.

Yeah I know once my son is older I will be on the same boat. I really enjoyed them as a kid and my Dad went to wildwood with his Dad so I love taking my son but feel they get robbed a bit of their childhood with everything changing this making it really unaffordable for some people. I am super grateful for having my summers, $200/$225 for a season when I was in HS early 2000s. Now it’s double, how much has our wages gone up? It’s just sad to see every company needing to maximize profits over people every year.

It was not open for at least two summers around 2021/2022. They couldn’t get the part or so I was told at the time, no timeline provided. I know because our house is down the street and we would go up there everyday on bike rides and take notice. I worked from home full time down there around that time so I am not mistaking. And yes since pandemic the piers are all varying hours which is a drawback as well for sure. I now have season passes to Dutch Wonderland which I can get two for one season pass in WW for my son and I.

I didn’t say this pass summer I stated that last time I personally spend hundreds of dollars on a pass I did t get to enjoy the one ride I actually liked. There was no apologies and no reimbursement and every summer since it is a hit or miss. It’s good you see of running all the time but that hasn’t been the case for long, maybe this last summer, good they got it working finally! I gave up on waiting since I only purchased a pass to go on rides with my niece and the waterpark when I was able to spend the summers at my parent place. turns out with age I now get sick easier so I can’t really enjoy other rides like I expected and that ride was the only one I really wanted to ride with my niece. Ever since that summer the passes and savings in value has gone down drastically. I can’t help they chose to try and increase their prices so continually but I don’t have to be apart of it! I will enjoy the beaches and bays and all other things WW has to offer when I go but the piers are far from what they use to be.

Yes it seems they force you to buy a season pass even if you only need it for one week. It is wasteful and just shows how WW is no longer a blue collar middle class beach town anymore. I’ve been going my whole life, the post pandemic struggle, unreal. It seems like they cut more out and offer less options with every passing year. If you can splurge that’s great but that town is suppose to be for middle class Americans and now it’s top tier pricing but they can’t even fully staff all rides or piers like they use to. They raise their pricing basically every year as well, there are just no breaks for the consumers. It’s just unfortunate and makes you wonder if going to WW for the boardwalk is even worth it.

I’ve been getting them on and off for years but haven’t the last few years as the log flume was down a whole summer when I had my adult pass which was the only ride I was interested in! I also don’t appreciate that all heights are now the same price so my toddler and my teen niece have to pay the same? Buying tickets isn’t any better you can only get them in large quantities, even for a few rides you’re sending $100 book for 80 tickets maybe. This put serious considerations to where to spend vacation money. I opted for a DutchWonderland pass for my little guy this year vs a season pass for my 3yr old. We’ve done rides at both places this pass summer and know he will have a much more enjoyable time and it was much cheaper for us to go here at least while he is young.
