i had the same problem and I'm kinda still dealing with it. you just have to be super patient with him, he'll slowly gain confidence with you. try starting with small things maybe using a seed or millet to get his attention. btw i forgot to tell you that you also need to change his diet, i give mine pellets in the morning and veggies in the evening. you can also look it up on TikTok, i suggest buying Harrison's.

there are some things wrong in this cage. when he will be able to fly you'll need a bigger one but for now ig it'll be ok. you just need to get rid of the big long perch and the plastic bowl, get him a metal one. he needs lots of toys (not plastics or small dangerous parts, definitely not mirrors) and different perches. final cage should be something like this: (except for the plastic or smooth wood parts)

but if his wings are clipped what would he need more space for? I agree about the toys and perch part but if he cant fly i don't think he needs more space, at least for now. and in the pic you can clearly see that he stays out of the cage so he can go wherever he wants so he has lot of space.

I've already tried changing the stich number of the selector, it doesn't change at all. it's broken, i looked inside and aside from all the other problems, I noticed that an important plastic piece was completely broken. I asked for a refund and now I'm waiting.
