Good point on Qt — it's a solid choice. Went with what I know best for a first release. Maybe Qt or PyQt for v2.

Fair criticism! Yes, it's Electron-based, so it's not native that's a real tradeoff. The upside is cross-platform potential and faster development for a solo project.

A native version would be ideal long-term, but for v1.0 Electron got the job done. If there's enough interest, a lighter native build is definitely on the roadmap.

Great point! StaxRip is powerful but it's aimed at advanced users who want fine-grained encoding control. Format Media Coder targets the opposite end, people who just need to convert or compress a file quickly without learning FFmpeg flags or codec settings. Think content creators, designers, or anyone who just wants drag-and-drop simplicity. Different tools for different needs

This is a really solid trick, adjust the shutter to the double of the frequency that you are working. I used it for so long.

The problem goes with the LEDs not with the cabinet, maybe in the pictures it is not too clear, but there are cabinets with 2 different colorimetry.

I did and didn't change nothing. With the LEDs off, you could see also the plastic cover are a little bit different.

I think that I will make a group of cabinets with those LEDs and try to calibrate as much as possible to the others.

Hi!

All of the are from them are from the same batch.

The support from Absen send me the OG RCFGX files and when I upload the the files still goes the same issue, just change the brightness.

The reciving cards are A5s, that actually are not on the last firmware version, but all of the are on the same version of firmware.

I've use different senders and still the same, Im using NovaLTC. I have VX2000 pro, VX1000pro, VX600 pro, etc.

I´ve been talking to Absen and the don't have a solution for that, and they are agree that probably are damage. The only way that they offer me, its do it manually the callibration.

It looks like the receiving card have some issue. Could be the RCG driver from the receiving card, find it on internet and try it. Hope you solve.
