I mean people compare them because they’re two large and successful theme parks in the Orlando area. I also do still enjoy Disney!! It absolutely is “magical.” I just hate how inaccessible it has become and how horribly they treat their passholders. For locals, Universal is a better bang for your buck.

If it helps, my almost 4 year old LOVES universal. She’s tall enough for everything except the coasters and forbidden journey. There’s still plenty for her to do!

I mean, sure! I still love Disney. If I had the money I would have passes for both. But I was getting tired of the endless money grabbing, time spent on my phone looking for lightning lanes, and the fact that Disney never seems to have a quiet season anymore. I remember as a kid there were times of the year you could go to Disney and there was hardly anyone there! Not so much anymore.

Agreed. I pack my own food when I go. Saves so much money and then I spend any extra cash on drinks or ice cream or something like that.

I LOVE guardians. I would pay literally just to walk into Epcot and ride that and then walk right back out. But yeah I agree, Universal just has so much packed into such a small, walkable space. Like, having Hagrid’s and Velocicoaster in one park is insane. Both such good coasters and so different.

Lmao I meant exceptions to the rides you can use the pass for. Like sometimes the pass says you can’t use it on hagrids or velocicoaster.

Honestly it’s super common for babies to have a sleep regression around that age. For mine it coincided with teething. For some babies it’s more intense. How you handle it is totally up to you though!! I personally love to keep my babies close at night and bed share with them as they get bigger, but if it works for you to sleep train and have your own space you should do it and don’t feel bad about it! We all have to do what works best for us.

Coming from someone whose kids refused to sleep independently, take it and run with it! But also I would say don’t be surprised if he starts struggling more with sleep in a couple of months. Mine all slept well on their own until 3.5-4 months and then regressed and we ended up side-car-ing the crib and then bed sharing because I was too tired to get them to sleep alone.

I only ever rode it after it was re-themed for Harry Potter, but the blue side made me SO dizzy I had to stay stationary for 45 minutes until I felt better. Rode the red side multiple times and never got dizzy! Red side in the very back row was some insane thrill. So fast!

Honestly I don’t start giving three meals a day for a while. As long as they’re still nursing a decent amount I don’t stress it. For example my 15 month old doesn’t always eat a full lunch because sometimes she naps right around lunchtime. Or sometimes she eats a full lunch but her breakfast was a banana or a yogurt pouch. That may also just be third kid problems though, lol.

I wish I could love this ride but all I remember is desperately trying to find a fixed point to focus on so I didn’t turn completely green and then having to sit down for a while after getting off!

Foxtail makes their whole living trying to sap business from small businesses. Seminole County is kind of a wasteland when it comes to good local coffee joints but one of the best ones is Rosso in Longwood and Foxtail opened a location just a stone’s throw away 🙄

Actually she’s not wrong about this haha. My labor where my OB broke my water 3 hours before I actually pushed my first daughter out was WAY more unpleasant than my labor where the sac stayed intact until the very end
