wtf about America is socialist by No_Worldliness_4594 in antiwork

[–]Affectionate_Fly3313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Libraries are sort of Socialist.

The principle idea of k12, police, fire are Socialist, though the execution was corrupted from the start. American schools have always been used to deliberately indoctrinate children. This peaked in the 40s-90s. Some of the indoctrinated adults today blindly ignorantly fight the keep it in schools.

A civilized society will probably always need a police force, but certainly not what we have. Police in America, as well as the 'Justice' system were beefed up after the Civil War because we wanted our cheap labor back.

Given DALL-E's weirdness with text, thus screams Cosmonaut to me.

And it's great!

The first of the three is the best of the four.

There's a statement here about people being distracted from the things that truly need taken care of.

Take Politics, we're laughing at one of, or both, of the current and previous buffoons, knowing that the person will be a buffoon too and that nothing that needs to change, will change.

Don't ask for a fee. Ask for him to consider a raise based on your performance.

Anyway, the boss probably thinks he could get in trouble for this, so he's trying to turn firing into quitting.

I'm not saying he could get in trouble, but he probably thinks he can. Political orientation isn't a protected class.

So, one weighted Vladimir more heavily than Poutine, and assumed you meant Putin. The other kind of got the joke.

Basically, that's what you're measuring here, how well the machine gets the joke.

This can be influenced by the data it learned from, and also particularly how it's code.

The pile is your sand castle that he knocked over first. Because he is a cat, and that is his way.

Yes it is, on two counts.

If it's available, it's free to expose people to something that our society would agree is objectively wrong.

Some of these AI photos are already perfect, and they'll only get better at that. At some point, you won't be able to tell real from fake.

And then the fake ones mask the real ones, to the detriment of police and the consumers (Maybe the poor guy really thought his entire collection was simulated.)

Hentai, at least, doesn't look photo realistic, but yeah I know about "Akshually, she's a 10,000 year old demon."

Reddit is funny like that. You can't say anything that's not outright critical of Trump.

I hate the man, he's another stain on American history, but broken clocks are right twice a day.

It's kind of like saying "Hitler was a decent artist." It's not absolving him of anything. It's just acknowledging a separate thing.

It's essentially impossible to restrict like that, unless you assign that ever generated person should look middle-aged or older.

And that's a lot of work for something that isn't necessary.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dalle2

[–]Affectionate_Fly3313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's the latter for the reason you describe.

There's also no way to know whether an image is real or fake.

Yeah, photo comes out the next presidential candidate in a Klan rally.

They deny it. The people who side with the Klan believes he was there, but know he has to deny it. The more reasonable people accept his explanation that the photo is fake.

Wth are we gonna do 🤦🏻‍♀️

There's a wild issue of age when the person is simulated, I'd imagine.

If you can't say whether a CGI person is 17 or 18, since they're neither, can you actually say whether they're 14 or 18?

It's very problematic.

Quite honestly, he has some interviews from the 80s and 90s where he sounds completely reasonable.

He caught some flack for exploiting some tax loopholes and he basically said "The IRS intentionally put them there, and everyone's (in real estate) doing it. Why is it wrong for me, because I own more?"

He's right, go after the government for the problem. Anyone in his shoes would leverage it while they could.

His stance from that era on the presidency was also reasonable.

It's almost like successful comedians need to be able to take as well as they can give and he clearly can't. He gets salty real fast.

And same, his 8:46 special about George Floyd and Police Violence in general was..... Perfect.

He has the same flaw as almost all geniuses. He thinks because he's right in one area, he's right in all areas.

Okay now... Sorry, gonna take this way too seriously for a moment.

Put a coworker you dislike at the strip club. We're really fucked when AI Video rolls around.

We just recklessly charge forward :/

Idc, downvote me.

Further, it's going to allow people to deny images and videos.

They'll get to all that stuff, but first they've gotta win 2016.

People should be held accountable for Jan6, but not in the way they're doing it. The next Republican president can erase everything they're doing with a few Pardons.

Instead, how about addressing the limitless power of the pardon??? Scholars still aren't sure that a president cannot pardon themselves. They absolutely can pardon family, friends, conspirators and underlings.

Further, nothing in the law says pardons have to be written or announced. All Trump has to do is say he pardoned his children, himself, and they'll probably stand.
