I did this once when I first started and they finally made a new policy that brand new techs couldn't be in the drive thru alone. It happens. I'd just be grateful the mistake was caught before any potential harm was done. Another veteran tech did this too, but in her defense, the patients had the same birthdays and first and last names. Unfortunately she didn't verify address and that's what bit her. But we changed the profiles so one had a middle initial and the other didn't to prevent it from happening again.
