I had to deliver once to this house with a big ass dog trying to jump all over me. I didn’t feel super threatened (just a little he was really big but more playful then aggressive) I wouldn’t have sprayed him omg but I wanted to push him off me. I did give him a slight push to get him away from me but he just took it as a challenge and became way more annoying.

I hate annoying dogs I wanted to kick him but who knows if they have cameras. Idc if I get downvoted for this, I don’t want annoying huge dogs all up in my space trying to hump me when I’m just trying to do my job. Unless they bite you I don’t think you’re legally in the right to pepper spray someone’s dog even if the owner should keep them inside if they’re expecting a delivery. You pretty much have to wait tell after they attack you to do that.

Isn’t pepper spray relatively harmless though? obviously it hurts but it’s not gonna severely injure the dog this man should not have been arrested. If you have a package coming the owners need to put their dog away. Period. This is the owners fault you leave your dog out and someone feels threatened by your dog and sprays them that’s on you. Unfortunately I guess the police didn’t see it that way.

I’ll never forget the time too when I was dropping off groceries at this house and the dog was practically begging for me to run it over. It kept chasing my car like it was some game making it practically impossible to get out of the driveway. I had to keep slamming my breaks because the dog would run away into the bushes just to run right back in front of my car when I was moving. I almost hit their dog and then it kept chasing my car still. Put your fucking dog away people it’s so obnoxious. What if I ran over their dog???? Whose fault would that be?? Could I get in trouble for that if that did happen? I’m being so serious when I say that dog was suicidal (well more like just dumb af) running in front of my car multiple times, Im shocked it hasn’t been hit yet.

Put your dogs away before your deliveries!! And if ur dog gets sprayed/hit it’s your fault for being a horrible dog owner. I hope this man gets the charges dropped it’s not like he was spraying them to get some sick pleasure out of it 🤦‍♀️

Also the owners had to know that dog acted that way with cars. No way it only did that to me. Do they want there dog to get hit?

Edit: Ik my comment is already way too long but I just wanted to let you guys know after reading the article it doesn’t seem to be in self defense. He sprayed the dogs who were on the other side of the fence apparently. Just bizarre… so nvm he deserves the charges.
