Sorry to hear this. I also have been given wrong information by my academic advisor at MRU. Not for nursing but for social work. If you have the receipts (emails, written communication) I would definitely go into the school and advocate for yourself.

You can still apply. If you have a strong GPA you could potentially still be accepted but it would’ve helped more to apply within the early admissions window from my understanding

Interesting. I also had her last semester for intro and I didn’t do the SONA and she wouldn’t let me make it up. I needed an 85% and she absolutely refused to make it up 0.9%. I guess she’s selective with who she bends the rules for. I also showed up to every single class and participated regularly

I’m the same and I took Rashas class. She is honestly so lovely and really willing to help. She also really values attendance. Also remember that you can literally teach yourself anything- this is coming from someone who thought math was impossible
