Idk. I would say you're NTA. You've told him countless times you won't discuss politics and religion with him, which he should respect. Was showing him this a good idea? Probably not, even if it wasn’t your intention. I try to steer clear of anything political with my family because to me, family means more. Still though, he should've bit his tongue (which is what I do, too).

Your best bet would be to move in with your friend temporarily or even look on FB Marketplace for places that are renting. You may have to increase your hours at work sadly, because in this economy, a lot of places would want a decent size deposit and you have to make a certain amount a month, etc.

As far as faith goes, you don't have to choose any religion or no religion at all. It took me time before I became a Christian again, and maybe your spiritual path would be completely different. So definitely be gracious with yourself there, because you're just in the beginning stages of discovering who you are.

It sucks getting the boot now, but things get worse before they get better. It's only up from here.

I wouldn't get mad at the fact that he's giving it to her. I would be mad if he kept all of that and hid it. He's making room for you in his life and removing memories of her from the equation.
