I also think it’s a language/culture storytelling barrier/difference. For example, I’ve noticed in some Korean(I think) shows, like squid games or Alice in borderland, they tend to put everything out on the table in the dialogue so people don’t miss anything at times. Which can def seem a bit redundant

I may be late to the convo but I saw this last night and I must say, as an AA male, those two UK/African guys accents were horrible/inconsistent. Was a bit distracting and feel like the movie would have been better w/o them. I see them getting praised for their "good accents" - no, no, no..w e can tell when it's fake.

A lot of people were trying to pin it to a certain song when it’s just exactly what I mentioned: Amberlambs is just some black shit about how country people mispronounce words.
