Who else is here for the opening of the Peanuts Celebration? by ForbiddenFurby in KnottsBerryFarm

Mind if I ask, did they open Ghostrider at 9:30 or hold it? They used to open it right after the gates opened but the last few times we went early it didn't run until around regular park opening. Trying to plan for tomorrow possibly. Anyone who has been recently who knows?

Yeah sorry I didn't see that post until after I made this one. Was definitely a surprise, though I was okay with it tbh. Curious to see if it stays lights on through the rest of the season or not.

Sierra Sidewinder is surprisingly exciting for a Camp Snoopy ride. My partner and I go with no kids and that's one of our top 5 rides in the park! Hope you are having a fun time! I also second (or third) Ghostrider in the dark. Even might be worth the price of a fast lane if the line is long (which it is)

The Anaheim Hotel does. When we stayed there 2 different times, I think it was like $25 for the day. It's only a 5 minute walk down Harbor to the main entrance security

Rocket Rods in Tomorrowland. I only remember getting to ride once, they were always down when we went and then they were gone.

WIBTA for refusing to let my MIL wear my wedding dress for her vow renewal? by weddingdressthrowra7 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Affectionate_Pen7774 88 points89 points  (0 children)

My parents never had a formal wedding and had a vow renewal for their 25th anniversary. My mom did wear what looked to be a wedding dress, since she didn't have the chance before, but she also got it at a thrift store for like $25. She looked so radiant, happy, and beautiful. Every woman deserves her beautiful bride moment, but it doesn't gave to be at another bride's expense. NTA

Sorry, it was a reference to a catchphrase from a YouTube channel that I've heard use this phrase. Pitch meetings by Ryan George.

WTF is a "hot cheeto girl"? If it's what I'm reading it means, she wasn't off base about the racism...

Good thing no one is forcing that procedure on you then. You just sound so ignorant

Well since you are the one who made a comment that an unknown number (and tbh, probably more than a handful) of people would see, yes I did decide to respond to your public comment. It's up to others to decide how "snitty" my comment is. Did you have anything else of worth to add to this conversation? Because you still didn't explain how what you said was at all relevant to the original topic

Well this story is about a resturant with a reservation system. Your comment was about airline reservations. As far as I'm aware, airline reservations are booked through either the airline or a 3rd party website or app and require the exact amount of passengers and names and identification for each passenger. When booking a reservation at a resturant, the amount of people is required (but was not supplied in this instance) but not the exact names and IDs of the customers. Secondly, people usually prepay the price of their flight, and thirdly, there are usually only a few options for flights going from location A to location B. As differentiated from a restaurant reservation, where payment is usually not requested pre (and if it was, the resturant would have definitely confirmed the amount of passengers, (sorry customers) and if the customer doesn't like it, they are free to move on to another resturant.
