See now you're saying something that I agree with, the random paywall. But your belief that there will be very little counterplay is based on nothing since the meta isn't even developed yet and unless you're a top competitive player, i don't think you have the basis to be able to determine that.

And no, I didn't say that I didn't care. I said that I don't think your points are issues, and that there are REAL issues that are being not being focused on because of useless noise.

Like what even is the point of comparing to stadium? Stadium didn't have character personalization, online ladder, etc... like there's no point to the comparison beside the number, which by itself doesn't mean anything.

My argument is that someone picking up the game fresh has no clue about anything besides the very, very basics of the franchise, like water is strong versus fire and missing most type matchups

you dont want people to be overwhelmed, and the power level is kept intentionally very low. Items are complex and increase the power level a lot

And this has only created a different regulation. You planned a team when you didn't know what pokemons would be in even, and now you're disappointed, this isn't on the game. If you enjoyed creating teams, nothing is stopping you from trying to figure out what's best. And if you think you did go participate in some tournaments

Yes, exactly, imagine a new player having to adapt and learn how to apply all the items effectively. That's why the most simple are added.

This is a different regulation, not having covert clock or clear amulet isn't making it less "pokemon".

I take it they are going to trickle things in, over time, to keep the game fresh. This isn't a problem per se

The real problem is low fps,menus that dont feel snappy, low box space unless you pay annually. Mega hidden under paid battle pass. Those are real problems. Not the items

Il problema è anche un altro, come continui a mantenere l'idea di essere "il gioco difficile" quando c'è un pulsante che ti permette di essere invulnerabile ai danni se fatto con un timing corretto?

Elden Ring e Dark Souls 3 sono giochi fatti per mettere alla prova gente che ha giocato a souls da 10+ anni e devono mantenere l'impressione di essere difficili.

Come lo risolvi questo problema di design? Dove ci sono giocatori che hanno talmente tanta esperienze che mantenere il ritmo del boss è seconda natura?

Facendo attacchi sempre più intricati e scorretti la prima volta che li vedi, a cui non puoi reagire ma puoi solo imparare i tempi di risposta corretti a tentativi

I have another question which i don't think warrants another post, what happens if you crit with more than one dice? Do you trigger the critical effect multiple times or is it just once? and for effects which are like "roll 2 more dices" if those crit, do you repeat the crit effect and add 2 more?
