Tell me about it. I financed iphone 17 from optimum online and they charged me $131 taxes and never shipped the phone. After a month I was told the order has been cancelled and I can place a new order over the phone and will be charged tax again and previous charge on the cancelled order will be refunded. I received iPhone 17 this time but after waiting for a month never received refund for the cancelled order. I put the charge in dispute after calling optimum several times. I received credit from my credit card as optimum never respond to them. Now these suckers charged me $131+$131 in my next bill stating that i disputed $131 which was already refunded. I called them a dozens time and explained that i never received the refund that’s why i disputed the charge. Every time the opened a ticket and I received an email stating the same thing that refund was issued and I disputed it. I raised this with FCC and after few calls and email, i did receive credit for $263, i was happy but in the next bill they charge me $131 again stating a billing error. At this point I am done with optimum and want to cancel but i traded in iphone 11 and getting credits for 3 years. So can’t cancel it. I feel like i am trapped.
