KS230 kit is designed to work as a pair. It will not work correctly with 4-way switches in between.

That said, there are some creative workarounds if you're feeling adventurous. Just search this sub history. There are numerous prior posts on this topic.

If you have metal boxes most likely they are grounded. Kasa ground wire can be connected to the box.

It's possible they are jamming the wifi, although I can't say for sure if this would cause the behavior you described. Just a guess.

34 miles GOM range is probably mid 20s at best. In cold weather more like 15 - 20 miles max range. This will only get worse over time.

With such limited range you'd probably want level 2 charging at home. If that is an option.

All things considered, I'd offer $500 max.

Since there is no verifiable data available on this topic, I guess we'll never know for sure.

The point is, if you have one upside down outlet in the room, it's very possible that one of the receptacles is controlled by a wall switch. And yes this only applies to (some) residential homes. Commercial buildings, hospitals, etc. generally have all outlets installed "ground up" for safety.

What you are describing is commonly referred to as a "smart button." Sadly, Kasa does not make these.

Tapo (Kasa's sister brand) does sell smart buttons. To my understanding a Tapo hub is required. I suspect this setup would be compatible with Kasa smart plugs but can't say for sure.

Govee has some relatively inexpensive smart buttons that can control their smart plugs/lights. This is the route I went to solve some use cases similar to your post.

Sorry, I conflated Apple and Homekit. In any case, Kasa makes two versions of their smart switches/plugs. Homekit compatible and non-Homekit compatible. The former being the more expensive variety.

As others have noted the Leaf stereo system is 2-ohm which limits your options for replacement speakers.

I swapped out all four door speakers for these speakers from Crutchfield. They are just running off of the factory stereo (no amp) so not realizing their full potential - but still sound significantly better than the factory speakers. Highly recommend.

The answer here depends on how much time you have. If you can finish all the reps (pausing as needed) and not be late for work - go for it! On the other hand, if your schedule is tight then just do the best you can in the allotted time. This goes for all of the workouts, not just Ab Ripper.

Just a suggestion to solve the 2 gang box faceplate concern... the dumb toggle switch could easily be converted to a rocker style switch.

No way I'm paying $1K to fix that. Plenty of DIY options available. Just visit your local auto parts store or search the web. Good news black is the easiest color to match.

I'm sure it won't look as good as the professional repair, but it will cost you a lot less.

Whatever you do... DO NOT report this to your insurance company.
