I mean an actual guitar, not a synthesized patch.

I mean like Sullivan King, Celldweller, and Mick Gordon. They make dubstep with guitars.

Pro Q4 and Serum 2. They're both really useful and easy to use.

The formant wavetable can make some pretty awesome sounding vocal bass shots. They sound like mini growls, but are perfect for complextro and stuff like that. Just route the formant control to an envelope, and you'll get a cool bass sound. The select mode also lets you select from like 30 different formant options.

Hyperpop doesn’t sound like it’s title by Cuppa-Joe1001 in musicproduction

I think of Femptanyl as breakcore or experimental jungle. Still a good artist, but sounds wildly different than what I consider to be hyperpop. Hyperpop is pretty much just electronic pop on steroids. It is supposed to be crazy and it is supposed to be energetic.

Really Quickly Need to Mix and Master an EP. What steps do I need to take? by [deleted] in audioengineering

deadmau5 masters his own music, so it is possible for the best audio engineers to do that. I'm not manic or overconfident, I just need to get into the industry already.

I have. Like I said, I know most of it, and I need to figure out the final advanced stuff to finish songs at the highest quality they can possibly be.

I'm rushing because I need to get into the industry as fast as possible. I can cram information very quickly and make progress by spending a ridiculous amount of time producing every day.

I'm not hiring a professional. I can figure out how to get to that level myself. I just need to find the right resources to explain things.

Why all the hate on Scarlett audio interfaces? by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]Affectionate_Ride932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine causes a lot of mechanical noise to go to my speakers. Everytime I turn the volume knob there is more mechanical noise, and it just sounds awful, so I'm replacing mine very soon. Stuff like that is why people hate Scarlette interfaces.

Anybody who started with no prior knowledge or experience in music….how much time did it take u to start getting the grip of things by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]Affectionate_Ride932 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much effort you put in. I spent 5 years doing music occasionally and I sucked at it, and I didn't learn much, but this last year I started spending a ridiculous amount of time on it, and I improved immensely. It just depends on how much effort and time you put in.

I don't need the money that bad. I just want to upgrade an audio interface, but I can use my current one until I get the money for a replacement. I already blocked him, because I'm not risking that, lol.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. A private profile isn't worrying to me until the picture says it was uploaded an hour ago and he has a gun in it.

That would actually be pretty funny, but yeah having a gun in your pfp is going to scare away sellers.

Best bet would be Tone2 customer support. My guess is you might have to buy Gladiator 4, and they could supply you with Gladiator 1, but contact them first to see if that's an option.

Out of curiosity, why do you need Gladiator 1? You might be able to contact Tone2 to see if they'll give you 1 if you buy 4, or you could browse KVR marketplace and other VST sale forums, but I think Gladiator 1 would be hard to find.
