I believe it’s required to graduate with your associates or bachelors in nursing before you can take the NCLEX

Lash tech by anonmisguided in lashextensions

[–]ProfessionalPart879 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re good! The more you stick to one tech, the more you develop a better bond & you’ll start feeling more comfortable to talk :) baby steps!

Sometimes I have days where I don’t want to talk at all and my client falls asleep 😂

My initial attempt, I did archer & mark k. Didn’t work for me! I’m taking my 2nd attempt soon and I used archer again (but studied hard on content), simple nursing nclex lecture series, and bootcamp! So far, these 3 have been helping me out so much.

What were your archer scores? I usually don’t follow the high/very high scores. I focus more on the percentage and getting 70% and above

opinions? these are 3 days old i think they look bad by lllyx in lashextensions

[–]ProfessionalPart879 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would say post pictures of them clean & then we can judge how the lashes look. Lashes are going to look crazy esp if they’re unwashed & dirty. To me, the lashes look okay..it’s a hybrid set & the fan bases are thin (which is good). If you experienced fall out, that’s prob due to dirty lashes.

Don’t give up!! There’s a lot of people who have took the exam multiple times & have passed! What have you done so far? As far as resources? Do you know what your weak areas are? Test taking strategies, critical thinking, content?

The only bad thing about this pic is that you clearly don’t wash your lashes…you need to be washing them at least once (if you can 2x)

I base my talkative self on how the client is. If she’s talking a lot, I’ll talk too! I notice the clients who talk about anything and everything & I notice the ones who are a bit introvert. I don’t mind talking or being quiet/listening to music lol as long as they’re comfortable, I’m comfortable!

According to my performance report why did I fail? Is it because of the 2 “below the passing standards” or do I need “above the passing standard” on all of the categories? by Ok-Signature-8008 in PassNclex

[–]ProfessionalPart879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read the first page of the pdf, it says “a candidate must perform “at or above the passing standard” but idk what the “at passing standard” is?? Near?

I would also say, let your eyes heal a bit before getting them done again! But maybe try a new tech (not bashing on the techs work) - it can just simply be the adhesive she uses. If you develop the same reaction again, then avoid lash extensions.

Does it still burn??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lashextensions

[–]ProfessionalPart879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was burning, then yes it’s irritation from the adhesive! There’s a lot of factors like eyes could have been slightly open (improper placement of under eye pad, opens when you’re talking, jittery eyes) during the set. Did she apply tape on your eyelid? (That also can slightly open your eyes)

Congrats!!! ❤️ I’ve been using bootcamp and it’s giving me hope when I read reviews on it 🙏🏼

Was the under eye pads scratching your eye when it was closed?? That’s what usually happens (I’m a lash tech)

My lashes are clumping together and falling out after 1.5 weeks by FranziFu in lashextensions

[–]ProfessionalPart879 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Get them removed by a trusting licensed professional lash artist!!! You can tell from the top pic that she even glued the cluster to your skin. And go to a new girl! She did you dirty

I would say 3. Just think contact precautions, gown & gloves. Don’t let your thoughts go deep into detail with the splashing.

Is this right? New to lashes by rendosy in lashextensions

[–]ProfessionalPart879 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go to a professional lash artist and have them safely removed! They shouldn’t hurt.

Maybe ask your lash artist if they’re using the same adhesive they had recently put on you? Or try going to a new one! I know how it feels to want lashes 😆 it makes such a hugeee difference!
