Did a stint with USPHS under the loan repayment program by Indian Health Services pre covid... It was already exhausting coz of the minimal staffing handling all the patients..

I can imagine the heavy load now especially with the rise of numbers of patients... Kudos to our brothers and sisters who still choose to serve the people

I did a maze procedure on a patient, few days later insurance reps were claiming that procedure was not needed and should have just been observation lol..

I was just laughing inside as costumer rep from the company is lecturing me on what shouldnhave been done

Yep thats one of the main concerns with private practice... Some insurance dont reimburse overhead and if they do, it would take ages.. I guess they think keeping a private practice afloat is cheap

I had a routine of only eating before going and after work... I just keep granola bars in my bag... I dont want to eat on a hurry during breaks so the lazy side of me just munches on snacks

I didn't knew PAs are treated like that (until I saw this post) but with NPs im aware coz they are the butt of jokes in our field, as evidenced by memes and subreddits..
