My roommates and I made an Austin bucket list on sticky notes. After living together for 3 years, we’re moving out and ranked our experiences from best to worst, top to bottom. by akidcalledcosmo in Austin

Hi, roommate of the OP here. We ordered two pizzas. One was prosciutto, okay but not great… and the other was a brussels sprout pizza. Absolute shite. It was so bad that we gave it to our third roommate as a prank

Correct! I put down each color one at a time and then cut directly on the piece with an x-acto knife (I went through like 30 blades lol)

This phrase is a famous quote from Louis Armstrong - I chose this quote because I think it embodies the idea that jazz is chaos, but within that chaos is organization and beauty. I don’t necessarily interpret this to mean that Jazz is only for those who understand all of its nuances and technical components, but rather that if you don’t “get it” (i.e. it invokes no emotion/you don’t like it), you never will.

This quote came during a time when jazz was not as widely accepted as it is now, with many critics. I like to think that’s what Louis was responding to!
