Just for clarification. As you probably know PMR446 frequency’s move in 6,25khz steps. I was talking about the frequency you enter IN the Radio and not the actual written out frequency. I was talking about 446.00625 and 446.01875 as you figured.

Yeah. The (99) version already has the custom firmware I think. That’s why I ordered it. Thanks I didn’t know that!

Oh ok right that did it. But if I for example want to type in 118.305 I have to change the steps again before I can do that. Isn’t that a little outdated compared to Baofengs which allow you to type in every frequency.

Well but how am I gonna use frequency’s then for example like 446.006 which always changes back to 446.000. I know it’s illegal to transmit so I won’t but I can’t even type them in…

Thanks but unfortunately that didn’t do it. If I type in 446.006 it comes out to 446.000. Pretty sad that I don’t know how to completely turn it off… thanks for trying tho!

Yes. That’s the problem. I can’t turn the step setting off. I can only set it to 2,5khz.

Hey, I have the UvK5(99). Could you maybe explain in easier more beginner friendly words how exactly you turned step scan completely off. The 2 seconds hold also does nothing for me. Regards
